Islamic Center of Tacoma: Our Children Shall Follow the Example of Mohammad

This is going to be a short post about the center, because the website of the Islamic Center of Tacoma located at 2010 Bridgeport way w University Place WA, does not provide too much information, unless you are a member. But once again we see Muslims in America preaching to follow the example of Mohammad.

They are following Koran verse 033.021, which calls for Muslims to follow the conduct of Mohammad.

YUSUFALI: Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.

Children Weekend School

The primary purpose of Islamic School of Tacoma is to help each child develop concepts, disciplines, and principles relative to their unique Islamic identity. And the goals of our program are centered around raising the Islamic standards for the Muslim youth at home, and in the school environment and in the community. With sound Islamic education the Muslim youth will be prepared to make intelligent choices based on the guidance of the holy Quran and the Example of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) . The curriculum includes Quran, Arabic, and Islamic studies.

The Islamic School program admits children from the ages of 5 through 15 years

Mohammad was a lying terrorist, plunderer and rapist.

1. Liar.

“Reliance of the Traveller, A Classical Manual of Islamic Sacred Law”

r8.2 The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said,

“He who settles disagreements between people to bring about good or says something commendable is not a liar.”

“I did not hear him permit untruth in anything people say, except for three things: war, settling disagreements, and a man talking with his wife or she with him (A: in smoothing over differences).”

This ruling obviously leaves the door open for all types of lies.

2. Terrorist.

Bukhari Hadith Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:
Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand.” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).

3. Plunderer.

Bukhari Hadith Volume 4, Book 53, Number 352:
Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “Allah guarantees him who strives in His Cause and whose motivation for going out is nothing but Jihad in His Cause and belief in His Word, that He will admit him into Paradise (if martyred) or bring him back to his dwelling place, whence he has come out, with what he gains of reward and booty.”

4. Rapist.

Bukhari Hadith Volume 3, Book 34, Number 437:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet came to Khaibar and when Allah made him victorious and he conquered the town by breaking the enemy’s defense, the beauty of Safiya bint Huyai bin Akhtab was mentioned to him and her husband had been killed while she was a bride. Allah’s Apostle selected her for himself and he set out in her company till he reached Sadd-ar-Rawha’ where her menses were over and he married her. Then Hais (a kind of meal) was prepared and served on a small leather sheet (used for serving meals). Allah’s Apostle then said to me, “Inform those who are around you (about the wedding banquet).” So that was the marriage banquet given by Allah’s Apostle for (his marriage with) Safiya. After that we proceeded to Medina and I saw that Allah’s Apostle was covering her with a cloak while she was behind him. Then he would sit beside his camel and let Safiya put her feet on his knees to ride (the camel).

Are we really supposed to believe that Safiya willingly married Mohammad, after him and his army killed her husband? Only a blind following Muslim would believe that. He is one of the last people that a person should want their children to follow.

Under the visitor section of the website, this is what is written.

Asalaam alaikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuhu,
May the peace, the mercy, and the blessings of Allah be upon you,

We, the community of The Islamic Center of Tacoma, welcome you, your families, friends, and peers to our place of worship and gathering. Please feel free to come by and say hello and learn more about the way we worship Allah (the One God) and follow the example of His last prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him)

Individual or group visits to the mosque are welcome and can normally be scheduled any day by either calling or emailing the Center

If there is anyone new to this subject reading this, they will not tell non-Muslim visitors the above truths about Mohammad. Islam survives on deception.

Bukhari Hadith Volume 4, Book 52, Number 269:
Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:

The Prophet said, “War is deceit.”

It says in the Quran 91 times that a Muslim must follow the example of Mohammad. That’s a command that carries a lot of authority. Here are the 91 passages (compiled by Bill Warner):

I guess that means they will encourage their kids to be illiterate…like mohammed…and to have sex with 9 yr old girls…like mohammed…and to eventually grow up and commit mass murder…like mohammed….well now, isn’t that special!

Is there any place in the US these aresholes aren’t? We must do something besides talk before it’s too late, no? Don’t ask me what although I do have ideas, no doubt like many, but how to carry them out is another story. I ask God to watch over and protect us and show us the way with number #1. being His will be done.

We have to educate more non-Muslims that the enemy is in our backyard. You can print out the article if you like, and hand it out. Or find community Internet forums and post the link there.

      Be careful!

I am totally amazed that any Muslim parent would exhort his children to follow the example of Muhammad. It merely demonstrates how few Muslims have ever read the Koran, the Hadith or examined sharia law!

According to many reliable contemporary Arab historians Muhammad’s morals and behaviour resembled those of a particularly nasty Mafia gangster. He was a liar, he stole from those he captured, he killed the males of an entire tribe by cutting off their heads himself and took their wives as his concubines, he was a paedophile, a rapist, an assassin and had no morals. He was a total narcissist like Stalin,Hitler and Saddam Hussein. Indeed he was one of the nastiest human beings who has ever walked this earth.

Truly, with all my heart I pity all those who follow this revolting cult-not a religion!

When you say Allah define him by his names. Here are some to get you started. The Most High,The All Hearing, The All Seeing,The All Knowing, The Oft Forgiving,The Most Merciful.Your pride has blinded you. If you know what Allah meant you would not act so foolish. If you understood what God meant you would be more specific when speaking of him. And take it to heart when i say my Lord is the One who Sees all but is unseen. And the is nothing of His likeness in the heavens or the earth. He is The Mighty! The Powerful! And you will go to your grave as the rest of us, and you will have no doubt who The Lord of the worlds truly is.but yet you turn away in pride and conceit. If this is what you wish to live and die on, evil will be your end. . .

A true religion would not worship a pagan deity (or embellish their buildings with the symbol of such). No Muslim has the power to damn anyone except themselves!!! Only Adonai has power over both body and spirit.

Islam’s deity is nothing more than one of the fallen; one of those that was cast out of the presence of Adonai for disobedience. What was the main sin of the fallen??? Well they wanted to be like the Most High; they wanted to be worshiped as gods. So out of the approximately 360 pagan and demonic deities of Arabia, Muhammad decided to keep just one. Big deal: what an underwhelming event.

Islam’s prophet, so called, admitted that he had received false recitations from the evil one when he attempted to add three of the more popular pagan deities of Mecca into the mix (Surah 53). Talk about being confused!!! Then Muhammad made up a lie about the Hebrew prophets that Adonai sent unto Israel to cover his own perfidy. That sounds like he was bearing false witness which would have multiplied his original sin of listening and reciting Satanic verses, as well as teaching others those false recitations until they were ‘abrogated.’ Isn’t that the Islamic explanation for correcting errors and falsehoods in the Qur’an; abrogation???

In the judgment, it will be allah, his minions and false religion that will eventually be cast off. The good news is that many Muslims will come out of the darkness of Islam into the light (as many already are doing). As it is written:

“… My people, come out of her! so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not be affected by her plagues, for her sins are a sticky mass piled up to heaven … ”

This applies to all the unrighteous of the planet, and all liars, and all murderers, all that conspire in secret to do evil and all who worship false and pagan gods like allah. Come out of her!!!

Jamal- islam will not win, either in this world OR in the HEREAFTER. I study The Bible, I’ve studied the EVIL UN-HOLY qur’an, I know how this ends.

The EVIL, Satanic cult of islam will continue for a while to cause much pain and suffering, but in the end islam and all of its brainwashed followers will reside with Satan in hell. If you prefer spending eternity in Paradise, run from the antichrist you follow, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior before its to late.

You show by your words how EVIL islam is. They are filled with anger, hate and malice, just like the EVIL qur’an. A Christian loves the sinner but hates the sin, islam and the qur’an hates anyone or anything that disagree’s with them. Christians Pray for forgiveness for lost souls like you. You curse those who disagree.

Just look at the difference in Christian Martyrs and Muslim “Martyrs”. Acts 7:58-60
      New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
” dragged him( Stephen) out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.
While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.”

True Christian Martyrs go to their earthly death with love, compassion and forgiveness. Muslim “Martyrs” go to their earthly death filled with hate and wickedness.

I along with many other Christians will fight islam with everything in me until my last breath. Just as Ministers in the Revolutionary War did, I will fight islam with The Word of God, with Prayer, and if it comes to it, with whatever else I have. islam will NOT come into this country and make me bow to their false prophet or evil, pagan moon god!

I will Pray for you daily Jamal, that you will leave this EVIL that is islam and find the love of Jesus Christ!

Since allah is really just one of those musty, old, devilish, pagan, Arabian deities, I’ll stick with Adonai Elohei Tzvaot. You know, the Deity that has foretold by His prophets of an evil coalition that is to rise in the acharit hayamim (end of days) in an attempt to destroy Israel.

Some of the possible players may be the Sudan; Algeria; Tunisia; parts or all of Turkey; Libya; Ethiopia; perhaps Eritrea; Syria ; Lebanon; parts of or all of Jordan; and other aligned countries which may include Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, along with other gulf states and many others (perhaps even some from the US) aligned in the cause. Then of course, there is mention of a few Eastern European counties along with the papa bear itself; Russia and its former ‘stan’ republics. And who could ever forget Iran, who has been making such wonderful treaties with papa bear, so I’m sure that Iran will be only too happy to be part of, or even spearhead the evil alliance!!! Except for Russia and a few of the Eastern European countries; the largest group of this evil coalition has one main factor in common … they’re Islamic countries or areas!!!

Adonai has foretold that over eighty percent of this evil invading force would be destroyed, and that it would take Israel seven months to cleanse the land of the bones of the slaughtered after the birds and other animals have picked them clean.

After all the unrighteous deeds performed in the name of the Caliphate and the now Defunct Ottoman Empire, Muslims think that they deserve a second chance at screwing up the world with their evil and unrighteousness (the Empire strikes back eh???). Doom on Islam!!! Islam will cause a lot of grief, kill vast multitudes of humanity; but in the end it is Islam that will be defeated by a ‘righteous branch’!!! Besides, the last time that I checked; Adonai didn’t have the pagan symbol of another pagan deity (e.g. the crescent moon was the sign of the pagan deity Hubal) displayed prominently above many of His places of worship. So in the end; the world will witness and all eyes shall see which deity blinks first; allah, the imp demon of Islam; or Adonai, the Deity of Avraham; Yitzchak, and Yisrael!!!

As a very wise man once stated ” … as for me and my house, we will serve Adonai …” No second rate pagan deity will ever suffice!!!

The Islamic scriptures call for the ultimate destruction of Christianity. Which means the God of Christianity and the God of Islam are not the same.

Islam has been are war with non-Muslims for 1400 years.

Muslim Hadith Book 019, Number 4366:
It has been narrated by ‘Umar b. al-Khattib that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.

No Orthodox Christian will believe one word you say.
If Abraham, Isaac & Jesus are so holy, then why do Muslims kill people who convert out of their religion?
If Jesus is so holy, then why are Christian girls kidnapped, raped, and forced to convert to Islam?
Islam spreads only by force and resentment.

To make the world a Muslim “paradise,” you will have to kill every Christian, every Jew and every other non-Muslim.
You will have to commit genocide on the order of Pol Pot, Hitler and the Ottoman Empire against the Armenians.
Are you prepared to do this?

All this bad talk about Allah, Islam, his Messenger(p.b.a.h), and Muslims. Im going to clue you all in on a little something. The last strong Islamic nation fell almost a hundred years ago. Of course that was the Ottoman empire. Right 🙂 In these times we Muslims are weak. But even still so. Allah The Master of the universe bestowed great honer amongst his slaves. Do even one of you know how? of course not your so full of it you cant even see straight let alone think clear. But im going to tell you any ways. because maybe you all will up your game at least a little. This is how Allah gave great honer to his slaves in the 20th century and soon to be the 21st century. Three great empires traded on holy land(lands of the Muslims)and because of that they all have fallen. who where they. Oe you know who the are.:) First up the British empire. Defeated in the Middle East and Africa. Next up The French empire. Defeated In the Middle East, Africa and the Pagan Buddhist dealt fierce blows to them. And will finish up the 20th century with the Soviet Union. Defeated in Afghanistan. Next up U.S.A.[A land I once loved with out condition.] Only to awaken and see it full of men of sloth, who worship Swine with lust and diligence. So why don’t you stop whining like the bunch of whiners you really are and join the U.S.Armed Forces or some security service working in Afghan for Our government and do your part to stop the inevitable . And you All better hope these aren’t the Pashtuns under Black Banners and Black Turbans whom the Mahdi will be amongst.Because if so, Are Time Has Once Again Come. The Lions Of Islam will ROAR! And you will know what True Justice is! Might, Power, Honer belongs to Allah, the One, The True, The Majestic, The Irresistible. To key you in a little more to what im talking about, and give some motivation to up your ante(Because im calling all your bluffs). . . . . . Now when its said and done, and this Nation (our Nation) is another notch on the belts of the mujaheddin, you should have known not to tread on thous whose salutations to one another is Peace. And this is in the Torah and The Gospel. A word readily used by the prophets and the believers. All Praise and Glori is to Allah the Most High, The most Great.

In these times we Muslims are weak.

      We don’t believe you.
And what’s more, there are many Muslims who don’t believe you either.
Don’t try to put on the costume of “we once had an empire, and now we have accepted our decline gracefully.”
In Islam, such humility and introspection are impossible because you believe yourselves to be in possession of perfect truth and because your scriptures command you to conquer, rape, enslave, subdue and destroy.
The trans-Saharan slave trade still operates and is controlled by Muslims.
Arab Muslims still practice racism, particularly against the strangers they “hire” for domestic help.
Muslims have much strength– and they’ve poured all of it into enslavement, terror, and would-be conquests of the West and the rest.
Just because they are not organized on the level of the Ottomans does not mean that Muslims are not dangerous.
Even a tiny minority can create much, much chaos.
And when we fight Islam, what we are fighting is indeed chaos.

      Islam claims peace.
      Peace through submission.
Christians make peace by way of the confession of sin and redemption.
In other words, Christians, being children of God, can be reconciled to God if they sin or fall into errancy.
Muslims have always had the truth of Christianity in front of them, and yet time and time again, they have denied their Original Sin and refused to repent of their evil.
There is no golden rule in Islam.
      No sin and redemption.
      No resurrection of the dead.
And judgment in Islam is indistinguishable from war and atrocity.
      Islam is profane.
      Your prophet is false.
      Your culture is corrupt.
Your history is conquest and slavery.
Your legacy is more of conquest and slavery.

Once again (You All) are being (Evasive)! You completely missed the point. As i said you cant see straight let alone think straight. Stop your whining at me get off your butts and do something to stop the coming defeat by Muslims with out a Islamic state. Your likes is no better then the last three and ,Allah Willing, you will go down just as hard or even harder then the last three. And you know what that means? We Dont Need a Islamic Empire to deal with your likes. All praise is due to Allah The all Knowing, The All Wise. Now to the next statement about you’ll being children of God ( Im going to assume the God of Jesus,Peace be apound him). We Muslims are slaves of The Most High! Slaves! To be a child of god would make one a god. Did you get that. Let me say it again because you guys get lost easy. To be a child of god would make one a god. To be a child of god would make one a god. Jesus (Peace be apound him) said him self that he will disown many who clam to be his followers. Ill tell you who will be disowned. The don’t have the mark on the foreheads ,that you can only get from( Prostration ), and they dont use the salutations of Peace. These things are spoken of in your books. Are you to proud to put your face on the floor to give praise to the Lord of Noah, Abraham, David, Salomon, and Jesus({PEACE} BE APOUND ALL OF THEM)Peace. They prostrated in prayer, they conveyed the saying of PEACE when greeting others. Not one Have the Mark not one of convey the salutations of PEACE. Where is it in the Gospel that says you are exempt from these ways, Or are you following others the Jesus son of Mary Peace Be apound them both. Or you just to proud and you follow your own lust and desires. It is a Great Grace and Mercy from The Beneficent to be able to prostate in the remembrance of The Most High The Most Great.

slave of allah- I pity you. I’m not sure whether you are simply a brainwashed fool, or just EVIL. Either way the end result for you will be the same you will spend an eternity in Hell unless you leave the EVIL cult of islam.

As a Christian, as a Child of God, as a student of God’s Word, The Holy Bible, I know who wins in the end, and it is NOT your pedophile EVIL prophet, nor his followers. islam has been the cause of 1,400 years of pain and suffering, and will undoubtedly cause more before Jesus Christ comes back and condemns ALL of the followers of the EVIL CULT of islam to Hell, but that time is rapidly approaching.

I have added you to my Prayer list, as well as Prayer lists around the world. We are Praying that as The Holy Spirit removed the scales from The Apostle Pauls eyes, He will remove the scales from your eyes to allow you to see islam for what it truly is, an EVIL SATANIC CULT, and lead you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior then use you as a witness to The Glory of God to lead more followers of the EVIL CULT of islam away from islam and to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

So stop saying you follow Jesus(Peace be apound him)you dont try to live up to the Mosaic laws. Your lord is Paul. he even says in his own letters that he has his own interpretation of the Gospel(i.e.Jesus being the son of god and the trinity) Paul is your god he is your lord and he is your saver. If any of you ever have the guts to read the Gospel out side of what the Paulinein CHRISTANS have ordained Paul worth you would know this. But i dont think not one of you have the courage to do so. But truly Allah knows best He is The All Knowing The All Wise.

        July 28, 2011 at 11:52 am

Obviously you have not read The Holy Bible, you show your ignorance of The Scriptures. I have read your un-holy qur’an, the ahadith of bukari and the miserable sharia law manual the reliance of the traveller, all 1,200 plus pages.

As we are told about ishamael:
        Genesis 16:10-12
        New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)

10 The angel added, “I will so increase your descendants that they will be too numerous to count.”

11 The angel of the LORD also said to her:

        “You are now with child
and you will have a son.
        You shall name him Ishmael,[a]
for the LORD has heard of your misery.
        12 He will be a wild donkey of a man;
his hand will be against everyone
        and everyone’s hand against him,
and he will live in hostility
        toward[b] all his brothers.”

        As Jesus said, NOT Paul:
        John 14:5-7
        New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)

Jesus the Way to the Father
5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

The particular passage you have reproduced here, John 14: 5-7, is extraordinary.
It is one of many that is the basis of the doctrine of the Trinity, and as such, it’s extremely uncomforting to unitarians, Christians and universalists alike, and other religions claiming monotheism.
I wanted to say here that there is a movement in the Episcopal and Anglican churches to make them much, much more unitarian in doctrine.
The new formula for the sign of the Cross, for instance goes:
“Blessed be the holy and undivided Trinity, one God, now and forever.”
To say the words “undivided Trinity” is a contradiction, because the Trinity is divided in terms of person, the same in terms of substance.
Yet this new formula is everywhere in Episcopal liturgy in the present day, and certainly, it is unitarian and I think, is an attempt to cave in to Islam.
Speaking for myself, I don’t believe in it for one minute.
Similarly, the new wording for the Nicene Creed eliminates the word “Father” and “Son” and in favor of “creator”.
In other words, the Trinity is thought to be offensive to feminists.
But above all, these are concessions to Islam, because without the Trinity, Christianity has no defense at all. It is virtually uniform with the other “monotheisms.”

Your own Koran tells you that the Christian and Hebrew scriptures are infallible and must be followed.
And yet other teaching in Islam tells you they are errant.
The fact is that your religion that claims to be so clear, is extremely unclear.

The war in Afghanistan is NOT a crusade.
It is not a war to spread Christianity.
Although, you would be fair in thinking that it is a war to spread the Western creation known as the nation-state.
The nation-state, the state itself, is a Western creation, institution.
The tribe is of the orient.
The empire is certainly of the orient.
In fact, everything that represses by way of formal or informal authority is of the orient.
      You are not a Westerner.
Yet here you are trying to argue with Westerners. What a huge waste of time!
You have no reason, you value nothing that is based on reason.
If your child is sick, you say it is the will of God.
If your car is bombed, you would still say it is the will of God.
If a woman is genitally mutilated as a child, you say it’s the will of God.
And if any woman is raped, she is completely responsible for what happened.
      Your religion is profane.
      Your culture is corrupt.
It is a culture of resignation to fate– a culture that does nothing but hate the other, fight the infidel, mock his institutions and conquer his lands.
And that is all you have to offer. You have nothing more.

If you think the majority of people here or in the U.S. believe the Afghan war is a worthwhile enterprise, think again.
I think the majority of Americans want to see it end.
All the Afghan war amounts to is an opportunity to kill off the class of young men who would make trouble if they were unemployed and walking the streets here in the U.S.
If young men everywhere had decent work to do and a stake in the societies in which they lived, there’d be no terrorism for any reason, I assure you.

Islam is a universal Message to all Humanity to submit for worshipping one God “Allah”. It was sent to Prophet Mohammad and he was ordered by Allah to convey the message to the whole universe starting with the Pagans of Arabia who worshiped idols they made by their own hands and sought salvation thru them similar to most of people around the globe today except Muslims who summit to worshiping one God “Allah”.
Listen to our good American, Canadian & British Brothers and Sisters who not only found the truth but also exceeded a lot of born Christians and Muslims by memorizing the Bible (the Gospel) and the Holly Quran and excelled in speaking the Arabic language (Arabic is the language of people of Paradise) and they teach true Christianity and true Islam to others across the globe, amazing when they dedicate their life to serve God Almighty.

Abdur Raheem Green was born in Dar-es-salaam in Tanzania. His father was a colonial administrator in the then extant British Empire. By the time he was walking the old colonies were getting their independence, and his family moved back to the UK. He was sent to a Roman Catholic Monastic boarding school, Gilling Castle and then onto Ampleforth College. It was there that he really started to question what life was all about and how much sense the traditions he was being brought up with really made.

It was while he was working in the City (London) that his delving into every aspect of spirituality, philosophy and psychology came to a head. It was then when he picked up a copy of the Quran and upon reading it he was convinced that it was revelation from God, and thus started his journey into Islam. This was in 1987. Since that time he has been involved in letting others know about Islam.

He is well known for his efforts at the renowned “Speaker’s Corner” in London’s Hyde Park. Currently, he is engaged in different activities including media work (Peace TV and Islam Channel)

    Occupation Imam

    Title Imam

    Religion Islam

    Early life
He was born William Webb in 1972 in Oklahoma, where he grew up in a Christian family, where his grandfather was a preacher.[2] At age 14, he lost interest in religion going through a self-described spiritual crisis. He also began engaging in delinquency by joining a local gang and became a successful local Hip-Hop DJ, making records with various artists.
    Conversion to Islam
He first encountered Islam through Muslim contacts in the music industry. At the age of 17, he received a copy of the Quran, the Muslim Holy Book. He experienced a three-year period of exposure to Islam through local Muslim acquaintances as his life became increasingly dominated by his gang violence. His involvement in a drive-by shooting was his “wakeup call.” [3] He then became a Muslim in 1992 at the age of twenty, and took the name Suhaib.
After converting to Islam, Webb left his career as a DJ and studied at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. He also studied privately under a Senegalese Sheikh, learning enough Islam and Arabic to become a community leader in Oklahoma City, where he was hired as Imam at The Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City.[4] He simultaneously started teaching at Mercy School, an Islamic K-12 school in Oklahoma City. In 2004, he departed with his wife and children to Cairo, where he currently studies at Al-Azhar University in the College of Shariah.
Apart from his studies, he frequently lectures in the United States and United Kingdom, and records commercial lecture series on Islam and contemporary Muslim matters. During his time off from Al-Azhar University, he resides in the Silicon Valley of the San Francisco Bay area. Suhaib Webb is an active member of the Muslim American Society and its youth department and has been so for the last ten years. It is through the Muslim American Society’s scholarship program that he was sent to Egypt to attain fluency in Arabic and focus on Islamic studies.[5] Additionally, Webb is a qualified instructor of the AlMaghrib Institute, took part in The Radical Middle Way movement, and blogs frequently offering Islamic perspectives on modern-day issues such as community involvement and social relevance.[6]
Webb has widespread respect as a sensible Muslim leader. UK government officials were recently quoted in The Guardian defining Webb as a “moderate leader” along with the likes of Hamza Yusuf and Amr Khaled.[7]
    Views & Accomplishments
Despite being a full-time student, Webb continues his work as an Imam. He has memorized the Quran (see: Hafiz (Qur’an)) in multiple Qira’at.[8] Webb helped raise $20,000 for widows and children of firefighters killed in the 9/11 attack.[9] Webb has been an advocate for grassroots Muslim activism to promote social change.[10] He has also strongly advocated for an articulation of American Islam that is authentically Islamic with leaders that are acutely aware of the issues facing Muslim Americans.[11]

Hamza Yusuf was born in Washington State and raised in Northern California. In 1977, he became Muslim and subsequently traveled to the Muslim world and studied for ten years in the U. A. E., Saudi Arabia, as well as North and West Africa.[1] Hamza Yusuf is a cofounder of Zaytuna College, located in Berkeley, California. He is an advisor to Stanford University’s Program in Islamic Studies and the Center for Islamic Studies at Berkeley’s Graduate Theological Union. He also serves as a member of the board of advisors of George Russell’s One Nation, a national philanthropic initiative that promotes pluralism and inclusion in America. In addition, he serves as vice-president for the Global Center for Guidance and Renewal, which was founded and is currently presided over by Abdallah Bin Bayyah, one of the top jurists and masters of Islamic sciences in the world.
Hamza Yusuf is a proponent of classical learning in Islam. He has promoted Islamic sciences and classical teaching methodologies throughout the world. He has also been an advocate for social justice, peace, and conviviality among peoples and places. For several years, he has argued that the “them versus us” problem is fundamentally flawed, as he considers himself one of “them” as well as one of “us.”
Hamza Yusuf has served as an advisor to many organizations, leaders, and heads of state. He has been an innovator in modern Islamic education, founding the highly imitated Deen Intensives, and with Shaykh Ibrahim Osi-Afa, he started the first Rihla program in England, which has been running for over fifteen years. Dozens of young Muslims who were influenced by his call to reviving traditional Islamic studies in the West went to the Muslim lands in the nineties and early part of the current decade to study, many of who are now teachers in their own right.
With Eissa Bougari, Hamza Yusuf initiated a media challenge to the Arab world that resulted in a highly successful cultural religious program that he hosted for three years and was one of the most watched programs in the Arab world during Ramadan. Cambridge Media Studies stated that this program had a profound influence on subsequent religious programming in the Arab world. He has also been interviewed on BBC several times and was the subject of a BBC documentary segment The Faces of Islam, ushering in the new millennium, as it aired at 11:30pm on Dec. 31st 1999.
Hamza Yusuf has been an outspoken critic of American foreign policy as well as Islamic extremist responses to those policies. He has drawn criticism from both the extreme right in the West and Muslim extremists in the East.
He founded the Zaytuna Institute in 1996, which has established an international reputation for presenting a classical picture of Islam in the West and which is dedicated to the revival of traditional study methods and the sciences of Islam. Hamza Yusuf currently resides in Northern California with his wife and five children.[2]
Hamza Yusuf has also authored several encyclopedia articles and research papers. His published books include The Burda (2003), Purification of the Heart (2004), The Content of Character (2004), The Creed of Imam al-Tahawi (2007), Agenda to Change our Condition (2007), and Walking on Water (2010). Forthcoming are The Prayer of the Oppressed, and The Helpful Guide.
Hamza Yusuf is the first American lecturer to teach in Morocco’s prestigious and oldest university, the University of Al-Karaouine in Fes.[3] He is married and has five children, all boys.
    Critical reception
The British newspaper The Guardian called him “one of the West’s most influential Muslim scholars.”[citation needed] Jordan’s Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre placed him on its list of the top 50 most influential Muslims in the world. The magazine Egypt Today described him as a kind of theological rock star, “the Elvis Presley of western Muslims.” [4] Recently, Hamza Yusuf was ranked as “the Western world’s most influential Islamic scholar” by The 500 Most Influential Muslims, edited by John Esposito and Ibrahim Kalin, (2009).[5]

    Dr, Gary Miller

Dr. Gary Miller (Abdul-Ahad Omar) – Former missionary
    (Biography Copied from
Gary Miller (Abdul-Ahad Omar) shows how we can establish true faith by setting standards of truth. He illustrates a simple but effective method of finding out the right direction in our search for truth.
G.R. Miller is a mathematician and a theologian. He was active in Christian missionary work at a particular point of his life but he soon began to discover many inconsistencies in the Bible. In 1978, he happened to read the Qur’an expecting that it, too, would contain a mixture of truth and falsehood.
He discovered to his amazement that the message of the Qur’an was precisely the same as the essence of truth that he had distilled from the Bible. He became a Muslim and since then has been active in giving public presentations on Islam including radio and television appearances. He is also the author of several articles and publications about Islam.

    Islam and Christianity:
    A Presentation by Gary Miller
    by Gary Miller
Text of the section on difference between
Christianity and Islam regarding the BOOK:
The bible is a collection of writings by many different authors. The Quran is a dictation. The speaker in the Quran -in the first person- is God talking directly to man. In the bible you have many men writing about God and you have in some places the word of God speaking to men and still in other places you have some men simply writing about history. The bible consists of 66 small books. About 18 of them begin by saying: This is the revelation God gave to so and so… The rest make no claim as to their origin. You have for example the beginning of the book of Jonah which begins by saying: The word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Elmitaeh saying… quote and then it continues for two or three pages.
If you compare that to one of the four accounts of the life of Jesus, Luke begins by saying: “many people have written about this man, it seems fitting for me to do so too”. That is all… no claim of saying “these words were given to me by God here they are for you it is a revelation”, there is no mention of this.
The bible does not contain self reference, that is the word bible is not in the bible. Nowhere does the bible talk about itself. Some scriptures are sometimes pointed to in the bible, say: here where it talks about itself, but we have to look closely. 2nd Timothy 3:16 is the favorite which reads: “All scripture is inspired of God” and there are those who would say, here is where the bible it talks about itself, it says it is inspired of God, all of it. But if you read the whole sentence, you read that this was a letter wrote by Paul to Timothy and the entire sentence says to Timothy: “Since you were a young man you have studied the holy scriptures, all scriptures inspired by God” and so on… When Timothy was a young man the New Testament did not exist, the only thing that stems he was talking about are scriptures –which are only a portion of the bible- from before that time. It could not have meant the whole bible.
There is at the end of the bible a verse which says: “Let anyone who takes away from this book or adds to this book be cursed”. This to is sometimes pointed to me saying: Here is where it sums itself as a whole. But look again and you will see that when it says: Let no one change this book, it is talking about that last book, number 66, the book of revelation. It has too, because any reference will tell you that the book of revelation was written before certain other parts of the bible were written. It happens today to be stacked at the end, but there are other parts that came after, so it can not be referring to the entire book.
It is an extreme position held only by some Christian groups that the bible –in its entirety- cover to cover is the revealed word of God in every word, but they do a clever thing when they mention this, or make this claim. They will say that the bible in its entirety is the word of God; in-errant (no mistakes) in the original writings. So if you go to the bible and point out some mistakes that are in it you are going to be told :Those mistakes were not there in the original manuscript, they have crept in so that we see them there today. They are going on problem in that position. There is a verse in the bible Isaiah 40:8 which in fact is so well known that some bibles printed it on the inside front cover as an introduction and it says : “ The grass weathers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever”. Here is a claim in the bible that the word of God WILL stand forever, it will not be corrupted, it wont be lost. So if today you find a mistake in the bible you have two choices. Either that promise was false that when God said my word wont fade away, he was mistaken, or the portion which has the mistake in it was not a part of the word of God in the first place, because the promise was that it would be safeguarded, it would not be corrupted.
I have suggested many times that there are mistakes in the bible and the accusation comes back very quickly: Show me one. Well there are hundreds. If you want to be specific I can mention few. You have for example at 2nd Samuel 10:18 a description of a war fought by David saying that he killed 7000 men and that he also killed 40000 men on horsebacks. In 1st Chronicles 19 it mentions the same episode saying that he killed 70000 men and the 40000 men were not on horsebacks, they were on foot. The point be what is the difference between the pedestrian and not is very fundamental.
Mathew 27:5 says that Judas Iscariot when he died he hung himself. Acts 1 says that no he jumped off a cliff head first.
If you study logic very soon you will come in your course to what they call an “un-decidable propositions” or “meaningless sentences” or statements that can not be decided because there is no contextual false. One of the classic examples sited is something called the Effeminites paradox. This man was Cretan and he said “Cretans always lie”, now was that statement true or false? If he was a Cretan and he says that they always lie is he lying? If he is not lying then he is telling the truth then the Cretans don’t always lie!! You see it can not be true and it cannot be false, the statement turn back on itself. It is like saying “What I am telling you right now is a lie” would you believe that or not? You see the statement has no true content. It can not be true and it can not be false. If it is true it is always false. If it is false it is also true.
Well in the bible at Titus 1:12 the writer is Paul and he is talking about the Cretans. He says that one of their own men – a prophet- said “Cretans always lie” and he says that what this man says is true. It is a small mistake, but the point is that it is a human mistake, you don’t find that if you carefully examine the true content of that statement. It can not be a true statement.
Now I come back to the Quran, and as I mentioned the speaker in the Quran is -in the first person- is God. The book claims throughout that it is the word of God. It names itself 70 times as the Quran. It talks about its own contents. It has self reference. The Quran states in the first Sura after Fateha that “This is the book, there is no doubt in it, it is a guidance for those who are conscious of God” and so on and so on… It begine that way and continues that way stressing that. And there is one very amazing statement in the Quran when you come to the fourth Surah 82nd Ayah which says to those who say Quran is something else than the word of God. It challenges them saying: “Have they not considered the Quran, if it came from someone other than God they will find in it many mistakes”. Some of you are students, would you dare to hand in a paper after you completed a research work or something at the bottom you put down there “You won’t find mistakes in this”. Would you dare to challenge your professor that way?. Well the Quran does that. It is telling: If you really think you know where this came from then starts looking for mistakes because you wont find any. Another interesting thing the Quran does is that it quotes all its critics. There has never -in hundreds of years- ever been some suggestion as to where that book came from but that the Quran does not already mention that objection and reply to it. Many time you will find the Ayah saying something like: Do they say such and such and so, say to them such and such and so. In every case there is a reply. More than that the Quran claims that the evidence of its origin is in itself, and that if you look at this book you will be convinced.
So the difference in Christianity and Islam comes down to a difference of authority and appeal to authority. The Christian wants to appeal to the bible and the Muslim wants to appeal to the Quran. You can not stop by saying: this is true because me book say it is, and somebody else would say something else is true because my book says differently, you can not stop at that point, and the Quran does not. The Christians may point to some words that it is recorded Jesus said and say this proves my point. But the Muslim does not simply open his book and say: no no the Quran says this, because the Quran does not simply deny something the bible says and say something else instead. The Quran takes the form of a rebuttal; it is guidance as the opining says (Huda lil mutakeen). So that for every suggestion that the Christian may say: my bible say such and such, the Quran will not simply say: no that is not true, it will say: do they say such and such then ask them such and such. You have for example the Ayah that compares Jesus and Adam. There are those who may say that Jesus must have been God (Son of God) because he had no father. He had a woman who was his mother, but there was no human father. It was God that gave him life, so he must have been God’s son. The Quran reminds the Christian in one short sentence to remember Adam who was his father and in fact who was his mother? He did not have a father either and in fact he did not have a mother, but what does that make him? So that the likeness of Adam is the likeness of Jesus, they were nothing and then they became something, that they worship God.
So that the Quran does not demand belief, the Quran invites belief, and here is the fundamental difference. It is not simply delivered as: here is what you are to believe, but throughout the Quran the statements are always: Have you O man thought of such and such, have you considered so and so. It is always an invitation for you to look at the evidence; now what you believe.
The citation of the bible very often takes the form of what is called in argumentation: Special pleading. Special pleading is when implications are not consistent. When you take something and you say: well that must mean this, but you don’t use the same argument to apply it to something else. To give an example, I have seen it in publications many times, stating that Jesus must have been God because he worked miracles. In other hand we know very well that there is no miracle ever worked by Jesus that is not also recorded in the old testament as worked by one of the prophets. You had among others Elijah, who is reported to have cured the leper, raise the dead boy to life and to have multiplies bread for the people to eat, three of the most favorite miracles sited by Jesus. If the miracles worked by Jesus proved he was God, why don’t they prove Elijah was God? This is Special Pleading, if you see what I mean. The implications are not consistent. If this implies that then in that case it must also imply the same thing. We have those who would say Jesus was God because he was taken up in the heaven. But the bible also says the a certain Einah did not die he was taken up into the heaven by God. Whether it is true or not, who knows, but the point is if Jesus being taken up proves he is God, why does not it prove Einah was God? The same thing happened to him.
I wrote to a man one time, who wrote a book about Christianity and I had some of the objections I mentioned to you now. And his reply to me was that I am making matters difficult to myself, that there are portions in the bible that are crystal clear and that there are portions that are difficult, and that my problem was that I am looking at the difficult part instead of the clear parts. The problem is that this is an exercise in self deception, why are some parts clear and some parts difficult? It is because somebody decided what this CLEARLY means; now that makes this very difficult. To give you an example, John chapter 14 a certain man said to Jesus: Show us God, and Jesus said: if you have seen me you have seen God. Now without reading on the Christian will say: see Jesus claimed to be God, he said if you have seen me you have seen God. If that is crystal clear then you have a difficult portion when you go back just a few pages to Chapter 5 when another man came to Jesus and said show us God and he said you have never seen God you have never heard his voice. Now what did he mean there if on the other occasion he meant that he was God? Obviously you have made matters difficult by deciding what the first one meant. If you read on in Chapter 14 you will see what he went on to say. He was saying the closest you are going to seeing God are the works you see me doing.
It is a fact that the words “son of God” are not found on the lips of Jesus anywhere in the first three Gospel accounts, he was always calling himself the Son of Man. And it is a curious form of reasoning that I have seen so often that it is established from bible that he claimed to be God because (look how the Jews reacted). They will say for example he said such and such and the Jews said he is blaspheming, he claimed to be God and they tried to stone him. So they argue that he must have been claiming to be God because look!! The Jews tried to kill him. They said that’s what he was claiming. But the interesting thing is that all the evidence is then built on the fact that a person is saying: I believed that Jesus was the son of God because the Jews who killed him said that’s what he used to say! His enemies used to say that, so he must have said it, this is what it amounts to. In other hand we have the words of Jesus saying he would keep the law, the law of Moses and we have the statement in the bible, why did the Jews kill him? Because he broke the law of Moses. Obviously the Jews misunderstood him, if he promised he would keep the law, but they killed him because he broke the law, they must have misunderstood him, or lied about him.
When I talk about the bible and quote various verses here and there I am often accused of putting things out of context, to say you have lifted something out of what it was talking about and given it a meaning. I don’t want to respond to the accusation as such, but it doesn’t seem to occur to many people that perhaps those who wrote portions of the bible in the first place were guilty of the same thing. Maybe they –some of those writers- believed a certain thing and in order to prove it quoted from their scriptures –the old testament, the Hebrew writings—quoted out of context to prove their point. There are examples of that kind of thing. In Mathew 2 it said that a king wanted to kill the young child Jesus so he with his family went to Egypt and they stayed there until that king died, and then they came back. When the writer of Mathew, whoever he was, because the name Mathew wont be found in the book of Mathew; when he described this event saying that he came back out of Egypt, he said: “ This was to fulfill a prophecy which is written” and then he quotes Hosea chapter 11 “Out of Egypt I called my Son”. So he said because Jesus went to Egypt and then came back out of Egypt and we have this passage in the Hebrew scriptures “out of Egypt I called my son” Jesus must have been the son of God. If you look and see what he was quoting, Hosea 11:1 he quotes the second half of a complete sentence, the complete sentence reads: “When Israel was young I loved him and out of Egypt I called my son”. Israel the nation was considered as the son of God. Moses was told to go to Pharoh and say to him: if you touch that nation of people, you touch my son; warning him, warning Pharoan: don’t touch that nation, calling the nation “the son of God”. So that this is the only thing talked about in Hosea 11:1. “Out of Egypt I called my son” can only refer to the nation of Israel. I mentioned this point some months ago here in another talk, to which a young lady with us objected that Israel is a symbolic name for Jesus. You will have a hard time finding that anywhere in the bible because it isn’t there. You can take an index of the bible and lookup the word “Israel” everywhere the word occurs and you will find no where in any place that you can connect the word Israel with Jesus. But never mind suppose it is true, read on, the second verse says “and after that he kept on worshipping Bal”, because this is what the Israelites were guilty of, very often they kept falling back into Idol worshipping. So if that “Israel” really meant Jesus and it means that Jesus is the son of God that came out of Egypt they must also mean that Jesus from time to time used to bow down to that idol Bal. You have to be consistent, and follow through on what it says. So the point is whoever wrote Mathew and chapter2 was trying to prove a point by quoting something out of context, and he undid himself, because if you follow through on it, it can not be so.
Now I can come back to the claim the Quran makes that it has internal evidence of its origin. There are many ways that you can look at this. As one example, if I single out somebody here and say: you know I know your father, he is going to doubt that, he has never seen me with his father. He would say, how does he look like, is he tall short does he wear glasses? and so on, and if I give him the right answers pretty soon he will get convinced, “oh yes you did meet him”. If you apply the same kind of thinking when you look at the Quran, here is a book that says it came from the one who was there when the universe began. So you should be asking that one: so tell me something that proves it. Tell me something that shows me you must have been there when the universe was beginning. You will find in two different Ayats the statement that all the creation began from a single point and from this point it is expanding. In 1978 they gave the noble prize to two people who proved that that’s the case. It is the big bang origin of the universe. It was determined by the large radio receivers that they have for the telephone companies which were sensitive enough to pick up the transmissions from satellites and it kept finding background noise that they could not account for. Until the only explanation came to be, it is the left over energy from that original explosion which fits in exactly as would be predicted by the mathematical calculation of what would be this thing if the universe began from a single point and exploded outwards. So they confirmed that, but in 1978. Centuries before that here is the Quran saying the heavens and the earth in the beginning they were one piece and split and says in another Ayah : “of the heavens we are expanding it”.
Let me tell you about a personal investigation, it occurred to me that there are a number of things you can find in the Quran that gave evidence to its origin –internal evidence- . If the Quran is dictated from a perfect individual; it originates wth God, then there should not be any wasted space, it should be very meaningful. There should be nothing that we don’t need that you can cut off, and it should not be missing anything. And so that everything in there should really be there for a specific purpose. And I got to thinking about the Ayah which I mentioned before, it says, the likeness of Jesus is the likeness of Adam. It an equation, it uses the arabic word (mithel), it says Jesus, Adam, equal. You go to the index of the Quran, you look up the name ISA it is in the Quran 25 times, you look up the name Adam it is there 25 times. They are equal, through scattered references but 25 of each. Follow that through and you will find that in the Quran there are 8 places were an Ayah says something is like something else, using this (Mithel), you will find in every case and take both sides of it whatever that word is look it up in the index and it will be lets say 110 times and lookup the other word and it will be said to be equal to the same 110. That is quite a project of co-ordination if you try to write a book that way yourself. So that everywhere you happened to mention that such and such is like such and such that then you check your index, filing system, or your IBM punch cards or whatever, to make sure that in this whole book you mentioned them both the same number of times. But that’s what you will find in the Quran.
What I am talking about is built on a thing that is called in logic use and mention of a word. When you use a word, you are using its meaning. When you mention a word, you are talking about the symbol without the meaning. For example, if I say Toronto is a big city I used the word Toronto as I meant this place Toronto is a big city. But if I say to you TORONTO has 7 letters, I am not talking about this place Toronto, I am talking about this word TORNOTO. So that revelation is above reasoning but it is not above reason. That is to say we are more up not to find in the Quran something that is unreasonable, but we may find something that we would have never figured out for ourselves.
The author of this sentence said if this book came from someone besides God then you will find in it many (IKHTILAFAN) (inconsistencies). The word IKHTILAF is found many times in the Quran. But the word IKHTALAFAN is only found once in the Quran. So there are not many IKHTILAFAN in the Quran, there is only one (where the sentence is mentioned). So you see how things are put together perfectly. It has been suggested to mankind: find a mistake. Man could not get hold of a mistake, and he is very clever, because this sentence could also mean : Find many IKHTILAFAN and so he quickly goes to the index to see if he can find MANY of them and there is only ONE… Sorry clever person!!

So you see how things are put together perfectly.

      No I don’t.
If you need this many words and this much space to explain yourself, then the case for the holiness of your religion is pretty hollow.
If it were holy and even self-evident on its face, very, very few words would be necessary.
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
These words are the essence of Christianity.
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
These words are the essence of God.
Islam has nothing, absolutely nothing like them.

If Islam is the true religion, prove it.
Islam, the religion of peace, has not brought peace to the Middle East. There’s so much violence and destruction there.
