North Valley mosque proposal faces community opposition
A proposed Islamic mosque and school in Albuquerque’s North Valley has sparked controversy, with neighbors raising concerns about traffic and the building’s size, while others express their personal beliefs and opinions about Muslims.

A proposed Islamic mosque and school in Albuquerque’s North Valley is drawing opposition from local residents, with concerns ranging from traffic congestion to Islamophobic rhetoric.
Here we have another ignorant author who is defending what he doesn’t know. Because if knew about Islam he would know it allows prepubescent marriages and adultery.
If the author thinks it is a phobia to oppose those actions he should be put on a watch list.
Talha Mohamed, the religious leader and executive director of the Albuquerque Islamic Center, said the current mosque, located in an old bank building in the Northeast Heights, is too small to accommodate the growing number of Muslims attending Friday prayers.
As I said. Expansionism. As I also said there are currently 195 countries on the planet. With over 50 of them having Muslim majorities. Which obviously didn’t happen overnight. Islam is a slow conquering takeover.

The new mosque is planned for a 3.6-acre lot off 2nd Street, just north of Alameda. The Bernalillo County Planning and Development Commission approved a zoning change for the project in April, but the decision is now being appealed by the Maria/Diers Neighborhood Association. The appeal cites concerns about increased traffic and argues that the mosque would not fit the “character of the area.” Nearly 20 neighbors signed the petition opposing the project.
Muslims don’t care about the traffic.

Others expressed sentiments about Islam during the appeal hearing.
“It’s written in the Bible that Satan will have authority to come and behead the Christians, and if anybody is going to do it, it’s gonna be the Muslims,” one individual said. Another added, “Islam doesn’t really assimilate into any area that they go into.”
This article alone is just the tip of the iceberg which shows that Muslims are not in America to assimilate but to dominate as the Koran calls for.
Mario Rico, an independent minister from Valencia County who does not live in the area, said he learned about the issue online. When Target 7 brought up the constitutional right to practice religion freely, Rico said, “It isn’t that they shouldn’t be able to practice their faith. Their faith, though, is a catalyst for violence. The Constitution does not protect violence.”
Here are four questions non-Muslims should think about. Considering the fact Islam contradicts the US Constitution why does it deserve religious status? if Hitler had declared Nazism was from God would it have gotten religious status in America? Are we supposed to just point to the Constitution and allow the country to fall to Islamic rule in the name of freedom of religion? How far is this supposed to go?
Mohamed believes Islamophobia is the main reason behind the opposition. “We practice our religion. We don’t have any issue with other people,” he said.
I already proved it is not a phobia to oppose Islam. Muslims just parrot that word in an attempt to get non-Muslims to stop criticizing Islam.

Mohamed emphasized that the Islamic Center holds no animosity toward anyone.
“We don’t have any hatred, we don’t hold any hatred against anyone,” he said.
Really? How about towards the members of the overwhelming majority religion in America? Christians.
