The other day I received a response from ACT! to my “Logan’s Warning to ACT!’s Brigitte Gabriel: Come Clean With America!” post. Unfortunately ACT! did not come clean about their ridiculous statement on Zuhdi Jasser “truly” representing Muslims in America. If that were true, ACT! would not even exist.

Dear LogansWarning.com,

I trust this email finds you well.

I am reaching today regarding your story here: https://loganswarning.com/2012/03/02/logans-warning-to-acts-brigitte-gabriel-come-clean-with-america/comment-page-1/#comment-102831

You have requested that ACT! For America and Brigitte Gabriel “come clean” and we would be happy to explain exactly what our position is on this matter if you are agreeable to publishing it.

Thank you for your time.

My reply to Chris was the following:

Hi,
Why would I agree to publish anything before I have read it? That is a ridiculous request. The fact is what she is doing is spreading false hope, and the Muslim community does not care what Jasser has to say. You are just wasting time, and I will continue to expose ACT! and any other organization that promotes him.

Have a good day,

Chris

Chris responded with what seemed to be a childish game.

Chris,

Thanks for the email. I reached out in good faith that if we were to draft a response to your request for ACT! For America and Brigitte Gabriel to “come clean” on exactly what our position is on Dr. Jasser that we would be honoring your stated request. We are indicating to you that we are happy to send a public response to your public request for a public response. We simply asked if you would be agreeable to publishing it. Feel free to send over guidelines for publishing.

Best,
-C

LW to ACT!:

Chris,

Serious, if you have something to say just say it. No one is stopping you from posting in the comment section of my site, and no one is stopping ACT! from posting on their own site. As I said, asking someone to publish something without reading it first is ridiculous.

Have a good day,

Chris

At that point I decided to give them another chance to back up their claim about Jasser “truly” representing Muslims in America.

Chris,

I know what her position is on Jasser himself. But she said, ” We encourage you to attend the March 5th event to show your support both for the NYPD as well as for this group of American Muslims who truly represent the Muslim American community.”

I gave numerous examples showing the opposite. Let ACT prove their statement, and I will publish it. I want sources showing that Mosques in America, and Madrasas here support Jasser’s views. Show me the Imams (and the Mosques) they lead in America who are saying Jasser is correct. Please provide links and videos showing they are calling for a separation of Mosque and state.

Thank you,

Chris

As of 3/7/12 they have not provided the name of even one Mosque in America that is in support of Jasser, and a separation of Mosque and state. The reason being, is because that is not Islam. Islam is a complete way of life which includes a set of laws. Laws which are brutal and discriminate against non-Muslims.

Koran verse 009.029

YUSUFALI: Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

The Koran itself states certain laws are to be followed. One being the cutting off of limbs for theft.

Koran verse 005.038

YUSUFALI: As to the thief, Male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example, from Allah, for their crime: and Allah is Exalted in power.

The authentic Ahadith show us that Mohammad himself ordered certain laws to be enacted.

Bukhari Hadith Volume 9, Book 92, Number 432:

Narrated Ibn ‘Umar:
The Jews brought a man and a woman who had committed illegal sexual intercourse, to the Prophet and the Prophet ordered them to be stoned to death, and they were stoned to death near the mosque where the biers used to be placed.

Koran verse 10:64 states the words of the it cannot be changed.

Koran verse 010.064

YUSUFALI: For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present and in the Hereafter; no change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme felicity.

Then there is this beauty….

Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 89, Number 251:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “Whoever obeys me, obeys Allah, and whoever disobeys me, disobeys Allah, and whoever obeys the ruler I appoint, obeys me, and whoever disobeys him, disobeys me.”

So, does ACT! expect us to believe that Muslims in America are going to obey Jasser over Mohammad himself?

The final email I received from ACT! was their public statement against Logan’s Warning. A statement that did not address their claim about Jasser “truly” representing Muslim in America. We also see that the leaders of ACT!, do not like to be criticised.

ACT! to LW:

Chris,

Please find our public statements below given by our Executive Director, Guy Rodgers.

Begin message:

I find it disappointing when people like Christopher Logan fire their rhetorical guns in ways that not only do a disservice to some fighting the threat of radical Islam, but actually serve more to divide the forces resisting the threat of radical Islam against each other. Mr. Logan’s recent “warning” to Brigitte Gabriel was just such a piece.

Let me begin with your consideration of these questions. How much did we hear about sharia law from the Muslim-American community 15 to 20 years ago? How much militancy emanated from that community 15 to 20 years ago? The answer: not much. So what has happened in the past 15 to 20 years?

To some degree, we don’t know how much, there is a transformation occurring within the Muslim-American community that people like Zuhdi Jasser is trying to fight and Mr. Logan does not see. It is fueled by foreign dollars, notably Saudi. It is fed by materials reflecting radical Wahhabism that have poured into mosques over the past 10 to 15 years. It is being led by imams from countries like Pakistan, Egypt, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia, who have come over here in the past ten years in ever-increasing numbers. In other words, it’s a foreign-driven transformation of the Muslim-American community.

I have talked to Muslims who have told me they lost their mosques to radicals. These Muslims reflect Jasser’s approach to Islam, in that they want to practice its spiritual tenets but have no interest in agreeing with or supporting sharia law, jihad, and the unification of mosque and state. They also are reluctant to speak up. Brigitte Gabriel has talked to young Muslim women who reject militancy of older Muslims but who feel like they have no place to go.

Mr. Logan is correct when he lists all of the links he lists regarding sharia and militancy in America. At ACT! for America we take a backseat to no one when it comes to our dedication to fighting this threat AND our effectiveness in combating it. We know how serious it is and we know that reformist Muslims have an uphill battle. But where I differ with Mr. Logan is that I know there are moderate and reformist Muslims, and we lose nothing by supporting their efforts. For all we know they may well at one time have been the majority of Muslims in America. Today they are under siege – as evidenced by the response Dr. Jasser got from Muslims who were organized to attend Rep. King hearings. Many of them treated him with contempt because he dares to speak out against the Muslim Brotherhood, sharia law, and the like.

Mr. Logan makes a flawed comparison between Dr. Jasser and the supposed “moderate” Muslims in Europe and the UK. The Muslims those governments were reaching out to weren’t “moderates” – they were mostly connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. Dr. Jasser condemns the Muslim Brotherhood. President Obama relies on Muslim Brotherhood types to advise his administration. Dr. Jasser was removed from consideration for a State Department public liaison position by the Obama administration. Dr. Jasser and the American Islamic Leadership Council have endorsed ALAC – American Laws for American Courts. No Muslim Brotherhood, pro-sharia organizations have. I could go on but you get the point.

Dr. Tawfik Hamid, a sincere reformist Muslim who courageously speaks out and whom I consider a friend, told Brigitte and I that he knows for a fact that ACT! for America’s visibility, grassroots efforts, public relations, etc., are not only encouraging but pressuring Muslim dissent against what we call “radical Islam.” As I said, we take a back seat to no one when it comes to defining the threat, exposing the threat, and providing solutions to actually combat the threat. But, just as is the case in Judaism and Christianity, Muslims the world over, including here in America, vary greatly in their knowledge of and devotion to their religion. They are not a monolith. Supporting genuinely moderate and reformist Muslims does not mean that we misunderstand or minimize the threat that jihad and sharia pose, or that we offer “false hope.” We know the reformists have a steep, uphill battle, and contrary to Mr. Logan’s assertions, we are not crafting a strategy to resist radical Islam that banks on them winning. If we were we wouldn’t be doing all the things we are doing to fight this threat. But that doesn’t mean we don’t recognize those Muslims willing to stand against the Middle Eastern driven tide, and if we don’t support them, who will?

I agree that people like Zuhdi Jasser and Tawfik Hamid are taking positions contrary to historic, classical Islam and sharia law. That’s why Tawfik calls himself a “reformist.” That’s the point. And as long as groups like CAIR are treated as the voice of Muslims in America Muslims who agree with Jasser and Hamid will likely stay silent.

It’s easy for armchair quarterbacks like Mr. Logan to post on their blogs from the sidelines and snipe at those of us actually on the field fighting the fight. We have won victories in state legislatures for ALAC. We helped stop the transfer of Gitmo detainees to Michigan. We got Everett Community College in Seattle to distance itself from CAIR. We helped get free speech acts passed in Congress, NY, and Tennessee—legislation that protects authors from intimidation lawsuits filed in foreign countries. We got anti-Israel billboards taken down from buses in Seattle. In a very hard-won fight we got Tennessee’s anti-terrorism law beefed up over the vociferous opposition of a number of Islamic organizations in Tennessee. We are getting ready to launch the most ambitious attempt in American history to change how our public school textbooks treat Islam. I could go on and on but you get the point. We are dishonestly and viciously called an “Islamophobic hate group” because we are fighting the good fight and we are effectively pushing back. If we were as wishy washy as Mr. Logan suggests I doubt the “Fear, Inc.” report, an “anti-Islamophobic” report put out by a group funded by George Soros, would have listed us as the number one grassroots organization fighting radical Islam in the country.

Perhaps we could have been more clear in our email, and spelled out in more detail what we are seeing happening in the Muslim community in America. The point the email was trying to make is that the default position of too many in government, academia and the media, when they talk about Muslims in America, is to see only Muslim Brotherhood groups like CAIR and think they speak for all, or even most, Muslims. By taking this position these American institutions empower the very enemies we need to be fighting, and they exclude the genuine moderates we need to be encouraging.

Anyone who follows what we do and is honest in their appraisal would not characterize Brigitte Gabriel as a “queen of false hope.” ACT! for America is providing real hope – as evidenced by our growing number of victories and successes – based on an honest and realistic assessment of both the threat of radical Islam and the promotion of sincere reformist Muslims. These positions are not mutually exclusive, and they are proving to amount to far more hope – real hope — than Mr. Logan provides.

Guy Rodgers, Executive Director, ACT! for America

From my cell I wrote up a quick reply to Gabriel’s bodyguard Rodgers.

Good work on the sidestepping there. Obviously I do see the problem. That is why I have been speaking out on this issue for years. According to Islamic Law, if they deny even one Koran verse they have apostated. Guy Rodgers claims to have read the Reliance of the Traveller. So he should know that. The country loses valubale time when promoting these so called Muslims. It also provides false hope, as Islam is not going reform. Prove those Muslims in the UK are part of the MB. Your word alone means nothing. The UK has over 80 Sharia Courts, 50 public schools serving halal only, and entire neighbourhoods are changing to suit Islam. (If you want sources on that, just let me know) Once again, “moderates are not coming to the rescue. The upper echelon of ACT! is wishy washy. Look at the wording. “Radical Islam”, “Islamists”. I don’t remember those reading the words in the Islamic scriptures. The problem is Islam itself. Try being honest with America. We will never win a war if we can not even bring ourselves to name the enemy. I realize that ACT!has done some good, but in the end it will all be for nothing if Muslim immigration is not ended. As they will never stop pushing. ACT does not have the courage to call for that. In the end ACT has no real answers. As far as the “armchair quarterback” comment, I’m the one who goes into Mosques, I’m the one who shows up at pro-Islam rallies surrounded by thousands of people who cannot stand people who are as outspoken as me. Let me know when Guy does the same. ACT claimed Jasser truly represents the Muslim community in America. Yet you have not provided any proof of that. I will continue to expose ACT blatantly lying to America.

Gabriel’s henchmen never responded to my reply, but I would like to add a few more points now.

1. How does Guy know those “Muslims” are not just lying to him, like Mohammad instructed them to?

2. Why doesn’t Guy explain how Islam is reform?

3. Why doesn’t Guy explain how America is going to win this war if we do not end Muslim immigration?

4. In the end Jasser tries to protect Islam. Well the fact is that Islam itself is the problem. Are you denying that Guy?

Here is a clue Guy….take a LOOK at what Muslim immigration brings to the West. (Yes I realize that many in the videos were probably born in the countries, but bringing in more Muslims will just make things worse.)

UK:

USA:

I urge all reading to realize that if we do not end Muslim immigration, we will eventually lose this war. As they will never stop pushing. So I also urge all reading to echo my call to end Muslim immigration.

Now I will ask ACT! one more time. Provide the evidence that Jasser “truly” represents Muslims in America, retract the statement, or you are blatantly lying to America!

Next up: Did Brigitte Gabriel take a turn to the left?
