On Saturday afternoon I headed over to Times Square to catch Pastor’s Jones’ speech on Islam, and the proposed Ground Zero Mosque. The Pastor was with his right hand man, Pastor Wayne Sapp. As I was walking to meet up with them, I noticed a row of flashing lights about a block and a half away from where Jones was going to be speaking.
Of course I thought the lights were from police cars, but they were not. They were from cars produced from the patriots of “Fueled by the Fallen”, and they were just awesome!
The following 911 car was my favorite one. If I were Mayor this would be the design of all the NYPD cars. Of course Muslims would not like that, but personally I do not care what “offends” them. As I was taking the pictures of those cars, two hijabed women were walking by with angry smirks on their face. Too bad, if Muslims cannot deal with the growing anti-Islam campaign that is taking place in America, the door to leave is not locked!
From there I proceeded to meet up with the two Pastors. Even though I had arrived earlier than the 4PM start time, Dr Jones was already getting interviewed. So I turned the camera right on and did a short interview with Pastor Sapp. My questions were about the Churches that are opening their doors to Islam.
After speaking with Wayne, I went back to filming the pre-speech interview of Jones.
Just minutes later the Pastor started his speech. (For the record, I admire his tenacity against Islam, and I agree with a lot of what he says, but I do not agree with everything he said. I want to end all Muslim immigration and Mosque construction.) At the 5:20 mark a singing leftist (possibly using his cell as a karaoke machine) tries to interrupt the Pastor. He is singing “All you Need is Love”, but at the 5:50 mark he looks like he wants to kill Jones!
Jones did a great job holding his composer, and now we move onto part II.
At the the 11:00 mark a guy brings up the Crusades during the Q & A, and I wanted to jump in, but being it was not my event I bit my tongue. I did not want to steal the spotlight from Pastor Jones. Later he gave me the nod to jump in, but I still held back a bit as it was his event.
Finally, the end Q & A with me, Jones, and two Islam supporting leftists.
There was no way the two we debated were leaving until they had a shot at the Pastor. Not surprisingly, they did not stick around much longer after I mentioned specific Koran verses though. Unfortunately the two leftists did not have it in them to criticize Islam. The woman was friendly and respectful, but Mr. Smirky I Hate Christianity Want to be Elitist, needs to grow a set.

When moral equivocators start harping on the Bible you need to stress that the Quran is different from the Bible in that every word in the Quran is supposed to be their God talking. Inspired by God is not the same as reciting God’s word verbatim. It carries an order of magnitude in validating whether a concept should be acted on or merely judged and considered. In other words, when a mainstream Christian leader starts demanding stonings for what they view as morality crimes, such as adultery, you will be happy to oppose them as well, until then, Islam is the only religion practiced where modern believers in large numbers demand and practice tenets that are not compatible with basic human rights.
Also, when asked about abortion clinic bombers, which is all they have for ammunition, the best response is to ask which mainstream church endorsed that? Which powerful church official gave his approval? Did the Pope issue an edict showing his support? Because in Islam there are hundreds of “modern” examples of calls for jihad against the Jews and the West, from Khomeini to Qaradawi who do in fact espouse violence against unbelievers.

Go right ahead. There is nothing in it that’s just my opinion– everything I wrote was Christian doctrine as derived from Matthew 7.
Christians are not commanded to submit to Christianity. If anything, Christ commands that we love one another and God, and that we look carefully at the world around us in terms of the sacred and the profane.

What does admin disagree with of what Pastor Jones said? It is not clear from admin’s review, above. One paren is missing from his statement above. Did Jones say that he wants Muslim immigration and mosque construction to continue? Is that what you disagree with? If so, you are absolutely correct. Given that Islam is, at its heart, a seditious ideology, believers in that seditious ideology need to be prohibited from immigrating. Meeting places (i.e. “mosques”) where such seditious advocacy resides must be prohibited just as much as meeting places of Nazis in the US during WWII were closed down. Islam is at war with us. We are deathly slow to realize that we need to be at war with Islam and act that way.
One other problem I see with Pastor Jones comments is that he refers to Islam as a religion. It is a fascist political ideology cloaked in religious terms much more than it is a religion. As such, Islam does not deserve first amendment protection.
I did not think I would see the day that I would be more “radical” than Pastor Jones. But the truth is sometimes radical compared with ignorance that can sometimes be more popular than truth.

What you’re seeing from Pastor Jones is an oration among a mixed crowed of friendly and unfriendly people.
The best way to understand his positions is to listen to an interview of him.
Urban Infidel has done two radio programs with him, and I think you will be surprised at the coherency of his positions on Islam, politics, religion and the relation of all these in the West.
His defense of America is a sound one.
And I also think you will be surprised at his experiential background– he really has seen how Islamization works first hand.
If Jones was just another mindless zealot, I would not trust him with a fingernail or spend even one minute listening to him.
And if you are building a secular case against Islam in your own mind, his position may be of dubious usefulness to you.
Still, it’s worth perusing.
On both secular and religious grounds, though, very hard and strong cases against Islam can be made and kept. So let’s make them, voice them, and keep them.

I applaud your good work my friend Chris Logan, I see how easily people are deceived, and I am glad to see them question things in the end, but they seem to have rose colored glasses on when it comes to Islam. I guess the “truth” is hard for them to believe. We really face an enemy that is really got a foothold in America, and the challenge has never been more real. Thanks Chris for all you do…hang in there!!!!
