I frequently have conversations with Islamic apologists who say that their Muslim “friends” have the utmost respect for Jesus. Well, perhaps they do, but it is not in the same vein as Christians’ respect for their Saviour! From the viewpoint of Muslims, Jesus is returning as a Muslim, and he will break the cross (destroy Christianity) and be a slave to Islam. Muslims believe that Jesus will also abolish the jizya, which will leave Jews and Christians with only two options: convert to Islam or die!
Koran verse 9:29 calls for the extortion of Jew and Christians. (Jizya)

Muslims believe that Jesus will come back to fight for Islam, not Christianity!

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace_be_upon_him). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him.
Volume 4, Book 55, Number 657:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Apostle said, “By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it.” Abu Huraira added “If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): — ‘And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them.” (4.159) (See Fateh Al Bari, Page 302 Vol 7)
So, according to the Muslim belief, when Judgment Day arrives, Jesus will judge the people by the words of the Koran and not of the Holy Bible.

Allah’s Apostle said “How will you be when the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you and he will judge people by the Law of the Quran and not by the law of Gospel (Fateh-ul Bari page 304 and 305 Vol 7)

To Logan – You’re missing the critical point in the hadiths you are quoting. The central point is when Jesus comes back, people will have to either decide to choose to worship God, or the Heavenly Father as some say, or not. It is that simple. Islam is a word that means submission to God.

Jesus said to them: “Sit here while I go over there and pray… Going on a little further, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed.”
He used to get down on all fours and whisper the words Holy Holy Holy. That’s how Muslims pray, get down on all fours, but your head to the ground and worship God, that same God Jesus kneeled down too. That is Islam aka submission to that Heavenly God.
Lastly, I find it interesting that Jesus inherently loved everyone, even those that did not follow him. Yet, many Christians of today on one side proclaim the love of Jesus, but are also doing something Jesus didn’t do, which is to hate on others who don’t follow Jesus. If you love Jesus, then follow him properly and stop hate.

As a Pastor I am to spread the Word of Jesus Christ to Muslims and warn of the dangers of following the false prophet muhammad.I have been doing that for years. I am to be a watchman on the wall and warn of the dangers of islam.

For the non-Muslims – read the Koran before condeming an entire religion. And read it in it’s context – some parts were for a certain situation. Other parts are universal
For the Muslims – accept the fact that God made us all different, He did this on purpose. If he wanted us all to be blue skinned, 9-legged and speaking spanish then He would have made it so. Also if there is a book called the Torah, great, it speaks sense. Then comes along the bible, great it’s an updated edition and we should follow the next ‘chapter’ as it were. Reading Koran will make no diffirence. It is a matter of truth we are talking about. And the truth is in Christ Jesus the son of GOD. And the truth is in the light and that is the Christ himslef. And the light will set your free from the darkness. Jesus loves you too so instead of trying to justify Islam as a true religion. Confess your sins to the son of GOD and be saved. Christianity is apparently not a religion. It is a relationship between men and GOD and off course it is all about salvation which can be receieved easily but through Christ only.

I would have used detailed quotes to compare and contrast their apparent misinterpretations, and lack of completely mentioning the other half of quoted ayats but quite frankly with this bunch it would not have made any difference, since they are stuck in a one track mindset. BIBLE PROPHECIES ABOUT THE ADVENT OF MUHAMMAD
Abraham is widely regarded as the Patriarch of monotheism and the common father of the Jews, Christians and Muslims. Through His second son, Isaac, came all Israelite prophets including such towering figures as Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon and Jesus. May peace and blessings be upon them all. The advent of these great prophets was in partial fulfillment of God’s promises to bless the nations of earth through the descendents of Abraham (Genesis12:2-3).Such fulfillment is wholeheartedly accepted by Muslims whose faith considers the belief in and respect of all prophets an article of faith.
BLESSINGS OF ISHMAEL AND ISAAC
Was the first born son of Abraham (Ishmael) and his descendants included in God’s covenant and promise? A few verses from the Bible may help shed some light on this question;
1) Genesis 12:2-3 speaks of God’s promise to Abraham and his descendants before any child was born to him.
2) Genesis 17:4 reiterates God’s promise after the birth of Ishmael and before the birth of Isaac.
3) In Genesis, ch. 21. Isaac is specifically blessed but Ishmael was also specifically blessed and promised by God to become “a great nation” especially in Genesis 21:13, 18.
4) According to Deuteronomy 21:15-17 the traditional rights and privileges of the first born son are not to be affected by the social status of his mother (being a “free” woman such as Sarah, Isaac’s mother, or a “Bondwoman” such as Hagar, Ishmael’s mother). This is only consistent with the moral and humanitarian principles of all revealed faiths.
5) The full legitimacy of Ishmael as Abraham’s son and “seed” and the full legitimacy of his mother, Hagar, as Abraham’s wife are clearly stated in Genesis 21:13 and 16:3. After Jesus, the last Israelite messenger and prophet, it was time that God’s promise to bless Ishmael and his descendants be fulfilled. Less than 600years after Jesus, came the last messenger of God, Muhammad, from the progeny of Abraham through Ishmael. God’s blessing of both of the main branches of Abraham’s family tree was now fullfilled. But are there additional corroborating evidence that the Bible did in fact foretell the advent of prophet Muhammad?
MUHAMMAD:
The Prophet Like Unto Moses
Long time after Abraham, God’s promise to send the long-awaited Messenger was repeated this time in Moses’ words.
In Deuteronomy 18:18, Moses spoke of the prophet to be sent by God who is:
1) From among the Israelite’s “brethren”, a reference to their Ishmaelite cousins as Ishmael was the other son of Abraham who was explicitly promised to become a “great nation”.
2) A prophet like unto Moses. There were hardly any two prophets ,who were so much alike as Moses and Muhammad. Both were given comprehensive law code of life, both encountered their enemies and were victors in miraculous ways, both were accepted as prophets/statesmen and both migrated following conspiracies to assassinate them. Analogies between Moses and Jesus overlooks not only the above similarities but other crucial ones as well (e.g. the natural birth, family life and death of Moses and Muhammad but not of Jesus, who was regarded by His followers as the Son of God and not exclusively a messenger of God, as Moses and Muhammad were and as Muslim belief Jesus was).
THE AWAITED PROPHET WAS TO COME FROM ARABIA
Deuteronomy 33:1-2 combines references to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God (i.e. God’s revelation) coming from Sinai, rising from Seir (probably the village of Sa’ir near Jerusalem) and shining forth from Paran. According to Genesis 21:21, the wilderness of Paran was the place where Ishmael settled (i.e. Arabia, specifically Mecca).
Indeed the King James version of the Bible mentions the pilgrims passing through the valley of Ba’ca (another name of Mecca) in Psalms 84:4-6.
Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the beloved of God. His elect and messenger who will bring down a law to be awaited in the isles and who “shall not fail nor be discouraged till he have set judgement on earth.” Verse 11, connects that awaited one with the descendants of Ke’dar. Who is Ke’dar? According to Genesis 25:13, Ke’dar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of prophet Muhammad.
MUHAMMAD’S MIGRATION FROM MECCA TO MEDINA:
PROPHECIED IN THE BIBLE?
Habakkuk 3:3 speaks of God (God’s help) coming from Te’man (an Oasis North of Medina according to J. Hasting’s Dictionary of the Bible), and the holy one (coming) from Paran. That holy one who under persecution migrated from Paran (Mecca) to be received enthusiastically in Medina was none but prophet Muhammad.
Indeed the incident of the migration of the prophet and his persecuted followers is vividly described in Isaiah 21:13-17. That section foretold as well about the battle of Badr in which the few ill-armed faithful miraculously defeated the “mighty” men of Ke’dar, who sought to destroy Islam and intimidate their own folks who turned -to Islam.
THE QUR’AN (KORAN) FORETOLD IN THE BIBLE?
For twenty-three years, God’s words (the Qur’an) were truely put into Muhammad’s mouth. He was not the “author” of the Qur’an. The Qur’an was dictated to him by Angel Gabriel who asked Muhammad to simply repeat the words of the Qur’an as he heard them. These words were then committed to memory and to writing by those who hear them during Muhammad’s life time and under his supervision.
Was it a coincidence that the prophet “like unto Moses” from the “brethren” of the Israelites (i.e. from the lshmaelites) was also described as one in whose mouth God will put his words and that he will speak in the name of God, (Deuteronomy 18:18-20). Was it also a coincidence the “Paraclete” that Jesus foretold to come after Him was described as one who “shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak (John 16:13)
Was it another coincidence that Isaiah ties between the messenger connected with Ke’dar and a new song (a scripture in a new language) to be sang unto the Lord (Isaiah 42:10-11). More explicitly, prophesies Isaiah “For with stammering lips, and another tongue, will he speak to this people” (Isaiah 28:11). This latter verse correctly describes the “stammering lips” of Prophet Muhammad reflecting the state of tension and concentration he went through at the time of revelation. Another related point is that the Qur’an was revealed in piece-meals over a span of twenty three years. It is interesting to compare this with Isaiah 28:10 whichspeaks of the same thing.
THAT PROPHET- PARACLETE- MUHAMMAD
Up to the time of Jesus (peace be upon him), the Israelites were still awaiting for that prophet like unto Moses prophecied in Deuteronomy 18:18. When John the Baptist came, they asked him if he was Christ and he said “no”. They asked him if he was Elias and he said “no”. Then, in apparent reference to Deuteronomy 18:18, they asked him “Art thou that Prophet” and he answered, “no”. (John 1: 1 9-2 1).
In the Gospel according to John (Chapters 14, 15, 16) Jesus spoke of the “Paraclete” or comforter who will come after him, who will be sent by Father as another Paraclete, who will teach new things which the contemporaries of Jesus could not bear. While the Paraclete is described as the spirit of truth, (whose meaning resemble Muhammad’s famous title Al-Amin, the trustworthy), he is identified in one verse as the Holy Ghost (John 14:26). Such a designation is however inconsistent with the profile of that Paraclete. In the words of the Dictionary of the Bible, (Ed. J. Mackenzie) “These items, it must be admitted do not give an entirely coherent picture.”
Indeed history tells us that many early Christians understood the Paraclete to be a man and not a spirit. This might explain the followings who responded to some who claimed, without meeting the criteria stipulated by Jesus, to be the awaited “Paraciete”.
It was Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who was the Paraclete, Comforter, helper, admonisher sent by God after Jesus. He testified of Jesus, taught new things which could not be borne at Jesus’ time, he spoke what he heard (revelation), he dwells with the believers (through his well-preserved teachings). Such teachings will remain forever because he was the last messenger of God, the only Universal Messenger to unite the whole of humanity under God and on the path of PRESERVED truth. He told of many things to come which “came to pass” in the minutest detail meeting, the criterion given by Moses to distinguish between the true prophet and the false prophets (Deuteronomy 18:22). He did reprove the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgement (John 16:8-11)
WAS THE SHIFT OF RELIGIOUS LEADERSHIP PROPHECIED?
Following the rejection of the last Israelite prophet, Jesus, it was about time that God’s promise to make Ishmael a great nation be fulfilled (Genesis 21:13, 18)
In Matthew 21:19-21, Jesus spoke of the fruitless fig tree (A Biblical symbol of prophetic heritage) to be cleared after being given a last chance of three years (the duration of Jesus’ ministry) to give fruit. In a later verse in the same chapter, Jesus said: “Therefore, say I unto you, The Kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruit thereof” (Matthew 21:43). That nation of Ishmael’s descendants (the rejected stone in Matthew 21:42) which was victorious against all super-powers of its time as prophecied by Jesus: “And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken, but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder” (Matthew 21:44).
OUT OF CONTEXT COINCIDENCE?
Is it possible that the numerous prophecies cited here are all individually and combined out of context misinterpretations? Is the opposite true, that such infrequently studied verses fit together consistently and clearly point to the advent of the man who changed the course of human history, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Is it reasonable to conclude that all these prophecies, appearing in different books of the Bible and spoken by various prophets at different times were all coincidence? If this is so here is another strange “coincidence”!
One of the signs of the prophet to come from Paran (Mecca) is that he will come with “ten thousands of saints” (Deuteronomy 33:2 KJV). That was the number of faithful who accompanied Prophet Muhammad to Paran (Mecca) in his victorious, bloodless return to his birthplace to destroy the remaining symbols of idolatry in the Ka’bah.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall

Then why don’t you point out what I am “missing” in the ahadith I quote? (Yes Kam, the plural of hadith is Ahadith, not hadiths.) The central point is that Muslims like you think they can con non-Muslims into believing that they respect the same Jesus as Muslims do. The verse clearly states he will destroy Christianity (break the cross), and Islam calls for the dominance over Christians. Therefore it is not the same God as Christianity.
The Bible says to fight evil, and Islam certainly fits that bill. Not wanting to be dominated by Islam is not hate, it is survival and I will continue to spread the word.
Well Mr. Admin i would like to tell you that first of all, in Islam you have to always say, ‘Peace be Upon Him’ when you mention the name of Jesus(pbuh) which you almost never do and which shows a great respect for him. And for other people that say that Islam worship a different god which is called Allah i would like them to tell me another war to say god in Arabic. The term Allah is only a translation of God in a different language.
Then Jesus is as important if not more than Mohamed for Muslims. He will come back and save the world from the anti-Christ (dajal) and the Sin on earth. Now about destroying the cross and Jesus coming back as a Muslim: The world Islam means submission in Arabic, and the ideology is to submit to god and one god only. So technically all monotheists are Muslims in Arabic, including prophets from Abraham(pbsl), to Jesus(pbsl), to Mohamed(PbSl)and your self as a Christian. It doesn’t only mean that you have to follow the quran only and that you need to only recognize Mohamed(pbsl) as a prophet. It just means that you submit to gods will. You should know that Jesus never mentioned the word Christianity or never claimed to bring on earth a new “RELIGION” he was born Jewish and only completed the message as the Messiah on earth of the prophets before him. This is one of the bibles fundamentals that Christianity ignore! And as soon as Jesus(pbsl) returned to heaven, men started worshiping a representation of him which god clearly forbids and that he clearly disclosed to his disciples!!! That is the reason why he will destroy the cross! Because the mankind did once again what a messenger has told them. Same thing happened when the children of Israel started worshiping the cow when Moses(pbsl) left to Mount Sinai. That is why Islam is very strict with no representations of the prophet Mohamed(pbsl) to not fall in the same sin that our god (Abrahamic religion’s god) have prevent us from.

You are insulting to more than 1.5 billion people on earth that them pray 5 times a day to god all mighty, that give him that recognition 5 times a DAY(Salat)! which you might not even do once a day! that give and share with the poor as a DUTY (zakat) and to transmit the word of god! Some of the most peaceful people of the history of humanity like Gandhi did use Mohamed(psbl) as a great example of piece and Islam as a solution for many of the humanity issues we do encounter in our times. Mohamed(pbsl) has spread his message over 1500 years ago and it has only been for the last 12 years that this hate has became so developed because of a group of fake Muslims that did horrible things! We’re always seeing Christians mouthing respect for Islam here in the UK because of the illusion that Muslims share a respect for Christ and his teachings. Here `s the translation of all the Quranic verses which is talking about jesus peace upon him.
1- Indeed, We gave Moses the Scripture and sent Messengers after him in successive series. We also gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear arguments and strengthened him with the blessed word of God. (I have come so that) I determine for your benefit from clay (a person) after the manner of a bird, then I shall breathe into him (a new spirit) so that he becomes a flier (- a spiritual person) by the authority of Allâh, and I absolve the blind and the leprous, and I quicken the (spiritually) dead by the authority of Allâh, and I inform you as to what you should eat and what you should store in your houses. Behold! these facts will surely serve you as a definite sign if you are believers.3:49
9-“And (I come) confirming that which is before me, namely the Torah, and that I declare lawful for you some of the things that had been forbidden to you. I come to you with a sign from your Lord, so take Allâh as a shield and obey me. 3:50
10-But when Jesus felt disbelief on their part (and thought his people would renounce him,) he said, `Who are my helpers (in calling the people) towards Allâh?’ The disciples said, `We are the helpers (in the cause) of Allâh. We have believed in Allâh. Bear witness that, we are the submitting ones (to His will).’3:52
11-Verily, the case of Jesus is as the case of Adam in the sight of Allâh. He fashioned him out of dust, then He said to him,`Be’, and he came to be. 3:59

13-And because of their (falsely) claiming, `We did kill the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the (false) Messenger of Allâh,’ whereas they killed him not, nor did they cause his death by crucifixion, but he was made to them to resemble (one crucified to death). Verily, those who differ therein are certainly in (a state of) confusion about it. They have no definite knowledge of the matter but are only following a conjecture. They did not kill him, this much is certain (and thus could not prove the Christ as accursed).4:157
14-Surely, We have sent down (Our) revelation to you as We sent it down to Noah and the Prophets (who came) after him, and We sent revelation to Abraham, Ismâîl, Isaac, Jacob and his children and to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron and Solomon. And We gave David a Scripture. 4:163
15-O people of the Scripture! do not go beyond the limits (of propriety) in the matter of your religion, nor say anything regarding Allâh except that which is perfectly true. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary was only a Messenger of Allâh, and (a fulfillment of) His word which He communicated to Mary, and a mercy from Him. Believe, therefore, in Allâh and in all His Messengers, and do not say, `(There are) three (Gods).’ Refrain (from following this doctrine) it will be better for you. Verily, Allâh is the One and only God. He is Holy. Far above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And Allâh suffices as a Disposer of affairs. (4:171)
16-The Messiah never disdains to be (looked upon as) a servant of Allâh, nor do the angels who are nearest (to Him consider the fact degrading for themselves). And whoever disdains from His service (and worship) and behaves arrogantly, (the day will come when) He will gather them all together to Himself. (4:172)
17-They have only disbelieved who say, `Verily, Allâh – He is the Messiah, son of Mary.’ Say, `Who then had any power to stand in the way of Allâh when He intended to put an end to the Messiah, son of Mary, and his mother, and all those that were in the earth?’ And to Allâh belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between the two. He creates what He will, for He is the Possessor of full power to do all that He will. (5:17)
18-And We sent Jesus, son of Mary, in the footsteps of these (Prophets), fulfilling that which was (revealed) before him, of the Torah, and We gave him the Evangel which contained guidance and light, fulfilling that which was (revealed) before it, of the Torah, and was a (means of) guidance and an exhortation for those who guard against evil. 19-Most certainly, they have disbelieved who say, `Allâh is the third of the three.’ But infact there is no other, cannot be and will never be One worthy of worship except One God. Jesus, son of Mary, prayed, `O Allâh! our Lord! send down to us a table spread with a sure and lasting food from heaven that it may be to us a (source of) festival ever recurring, to the first of us and to the last of us and (serve as) sign from You and provide sustenance for us, for You are the Best of providers of sustenance.’ (5:114)
26- Allâh said, `I will surely be (always) sending it (-the food) down to you but whosoever shows ingratitude afterwards, I will surely punish him with a punishment which I will give to no one else in the whole world.’ (115)
27- And when Allâh said, `O Jesus, son of Mary! did you say to the people, “Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allâh?”‘ He (-Jesus) replied, `Glory to You! it was not possible and proper for me to say thing to which I had no right. If I had said, You would indeed have known it, (for) You know all that is in my mind but I do not know what is in Yours. It is You alone Who truly know all things unseen. (5-116)
28-`I said nothing to them except that what You had commanded me, “Worship Allâh, my Lord as well as your Lord”. I was a witness over them (only) so long as I remained among them but ever since You caused me to die, You Yourself have been the Watcher over them and You are the Witness to everything. (5:117)
29-And (We guided) Zachariah, John, Jesus and Elias, every one (of them) was of the righteous. (6:85)

32-He said, `I am but a messenger of your Lord. I give you (glad tidings of) a most pure son.’ (19:19)
33-She said, `How can I bear a son while no man (has married me and) has yet touched me, nor have I been unchaste.’ (19:20)

50- When (the case of Jesus,) the son of Mary is cited as an example, lo, your people start raising a clamour at it, (43:57)
51-And when Jesus came (to his people) with clear proofs he said, `I have indeed brought to you wisdom, and (I have come) to explain to you clearly some of the things over which you differ. So take Allâh as a shield and obey me. (43:63)
52-Then We caused a series of Our Messengers one after the other to follow them closely in their footsteps, and we caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow them, and We gave him (- Jesus) the Evangel. And We placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed him, but as for monasticism they invented it themselves, We did not enjoin it upon them. (They started monastic life) to seek Allâh’s pleasure, but they did not observe it (as faithfully) as it should have been observed. Yet We duly rewarded such of them as (truly) believed but many of them were transgressors. (57:27)
53-And (recall the time) when Jesus, son of Mary, said, `O Children of Israel! surely I am a Messenger sent to you by Allâh fulfilling (the prophecies contained in) the Torah which preceded me and pronouncing the good news of (the advent of) a great Messenger named Ahmad, who will come after me.’ But when he (- the Prophet Muhammad) came to them with clear proofs, they said, `His are the enchanting ways separating (us from our people).’ (61:6)
54-O you who believe! be helpers of (the cause of) Allâh (as did the disciples of Jesus), for when Jesus, son of Mary, said to the disciples, `Who will join me as my helper towards (the cause of) Allâh?’ The disciples replied, `We are helpers of (the cause of) Allâh.’ So a section of the Children of the Israel believed (firmly in Jesus), while another section rejected (him). Thereupon We helped those who believed, against their enemies and (at last) these (believers) gained predominant victory (over the nonbelievers). (61:14)

I will tell you one story-
One of my Christian friend marry Muslim girl. Both are not converted, still keep on their believes and she staying with husband in husband family. One day the after couple of years marriage her husband went for job abroad and other family members gone to relative home for a month. During this time this Muslim wife bring Mullas to their home and done some prayer and they break the cross and done some Jin/demonic activities in the home. When the family back home they could not find the cross in the alter, after they found the broken cross hide in the toilet. After that they investigated about it, then the neighbors said that we saw some Muslim mullah was in your home and we hear the prayer voice during your absents.
So Muslims also afraid of holy Cross. Why?

He will come back one day to get his people – those people that are saved – Christians. And we will go back with him. Muhammad is a myth. I am glad that Islam people respect Jesus.
