I just finished writing a blog about a 17 year old Christian who was beheaded by muslims, in his own home while getting ready for school at 6:30 in the morning. His crime?
He was a Christian. I’m sure his family would strongly disagree with the sign in the picture that says: “Muslim Obligation to stand Against Injustice”

This young man was beheaded by Al Shabaab.
We will pray for him.
It is our understanding that he goes to heaven.

I know so many Muslims with kind hearts and they even worship in the basement of my Presbyterian church. It’s sick that people would connect the problems with the Arab world with Muslims around the world and condemn Islam when the Bible even states that it’s okay to stone a woman. Grow up people.

I’ve just finished a Prayer for you, the Congregation, and the Ministers of The Church you attend. It is sad to me, as I’m sure it is with Jesus, that your Church Leadership would open the doors of God’s House to the antichrist.
Islam, by Biblical definition IS an antichrist, Muhammed nothing more than a false prophet. Read your Bible. Its very clear. perhaps you are the one that needs to grow up, at least needs to wake up.
Like you, I know many Muslims who are “good people”, however, that doesn’t mean they will have a place in Heaven. They won’t. If you, the leadership and members of The Church you attend want to do something for Muslims that will really help them instead of allowing them to worship a false God in the basement of God’s House, you would share The Word of Jesus Christ with them.
The Bible might say it’s ok to stone women but that was thousands of years ago. Muslims stone women today and they want this type of ‘justice’ in the West. If Muslims don’t like Western countries, get out. We don’t need you and your constant whining.

good one alex. sometimes i awake people from their slumber when i remind them that jewish law actually calls for the stoning of adulterers. when jesus talked about casting the first stone, he abrogated common jewish law.
so it is permissilbe to say that the bible (the tanakh) says it’s okay to stone adulterous woman. on the other hand, the new testament abrogates that law.
i’m not sure when the jews actually stopped stoning adulterers and why. was the law changed? did jesus have anything to do with this rule change if there was a rule change?

Reverend Dan, I wouldn’t be too harsh with all Muslims. Many of them are not living their so-called religion. These so-called Muslims are very kind because they are following the dictates of their conscience. So those that are following the dictates of their conscience are as good as many Christians that are following the dictates of their conscience.
We should be thankful to God that not all so-called Muslims are following the historical documents of Islam. If they did, they would be as evil as Muhammad, who legally “married” a child and then raped her when she was only eight years and nine months old. Muhammad also murdered people, “married” many women, actually 23 in all, and thereby lived in perpetual adultery.
For example, I’m a Catholic as opposed to Protestant. However, many Protestants are very kind and understanding because they are following the dictates of their conscience. I don’t see much difference in a good and kind Muslim and a good and kind Protestant and a good and kind Catholic. I can love a good and kind Protestant as much as a good and kind Muslim or a Catholic. All considerate people are trying to follow the will of their Maker.

You can’t use the Catholic/Protestant debate as an example. As most are aware I am a Southern Baptist Preacher, you have never heard me say a single word against the Catholic Church. I used to be a Presbyterian and as such in our Prayer to begin every Service we mentioned The Holy Catholic Church.
There are plenty of good kind considerate people who call themselves Muslims. I have been put to sleep for surgery by a Dr who is a Muslim at least 20 times. He is a very kind compassionate person. That doesn’t mean he isn’t following a False God. That DOES mean as a kind, compassionate person myself, if I love him I want the same for him I want for myself and my family. Salvation.
There are good kind people of all Faiths, and of no Faith. Does that mean all good kind people will have Salvation? Not according to The Word of God.
The only way for him to get Salvation, is to get away from the False God he follows. As a Catholic you know this.

I am merely a Servant of God. A student of The Holy Bible. I devote a minimum of 2 hours per day, 365 days a year in the Word of God. Not counting all the time spent preparing for Sermons or lessons. I’m not a Catholic Apologist. There are things in the Catholic doctrine I disagree with, some strongly. There is NOTHING in The Holy Bible I have found to this date that leads me to believe this quote from you: “The Roman Catholic Church is also an Anti-Christ religion”. On the contrary Catholics believe they have a Savior and that Savior is Jesus Christ. Catholics believe in God the Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Ghost.
One thing we do agree on is the Christain Church is in trouble. Whether Protestant or Catholic, Baptist or Methodist, 7th Day Adventist or Presbyterian, Assembly of God or Church of God.
Pastors have got away from Preaching the Word of God. Too many worry about being politically correct instead of Biblicaly Correct. The Christian church is under attack from all sides. From Islam, from multi-cultralists and pluralists who push their one world one religion agenda, from secularists, communists, socialists, marxist etc..
Most importantly from Pastors who show up at Church on Sunday Mornings and Preach a little 25 minute “Feel good Sermonette” instead of Preaching The Gospel.
At this point in time nothing can be gained by stirring the pot between Protestants and Catholics. That simply allows Satan to divide and conquer. I believe that we are nearing the end of times. I believe my time is better spent spreading The Word of God, trying to help my family, my friends, my Church family and anyone else I come in contact with develop a Relationship with Jesus Christ so they can be certain of their Salvation. To me that is much more important than trying to turn Protestants and Catholics against each other.
If that offends you Gloria it can’t be helped. I have to do what I read in The Holy Bible. What God puts it in my heart to do.

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (BP)–As the world observes the election of the first new pope of the Roman Catholic Church in more than 25 years, many Baptists may be thinking through how Catholic beliefs differ from their own.
“The Catholic understanding of God is the same as the Trinitarian view of God held by evangelicals,” said Bill Gordon, an associate with the North American Mission Board’s interfaith evangelism team and author of NAMB’s overview of the faith, Roman Catholicism Belief Bulletin.
“The Jesus of Catholicism is the same Jesus we worship,” continued Gordon, a Southern Baptist authority on Catholicism. “He is the second person of the Holy Trinity, fully God and fully man, who died on the cross and rose again from the dead.”
Gordon said, however, that while Catholics and Southern Baptists alike are ardent defenders of the sanctity of human life and the institution of marriage between one man and one woman, the two groups hold starkly different beliefs about the key doctrine of eternal salvation.
“Catholics will agree that you have to be saved by the grace of God that comes through Jesus Christ,” Gordon said. “Catholicism, however, teaches that one receives God’s grace through the church’s sacraments. Southern Baptists believe, according to Scripture, that we receive God’s grace solely through faith in Jesus Christ, by faith alone.
“Catholics also have a sacramental understanding of how God’s grace is dispensed,” Gordon explained. “To receive the grace of God and eternal salvation, the Catholic Church teaches that you have to receive the sacraments from their church. Southern Baptists believe that the sacraments are contrary to the teaching of the Bible and that grace is received directly from God. We don’t have to go through an intermediary. The church doesn’t control God’s storehouse of grace. We receive all the grace we need directly from God when we believe in Jesus Christ.”
Gordon said the Catholic Church also distinguishes between the seriousness of various sins. Murder, adultery, stealing and lying are called mortal sins which must be confessed to a priest in order to receive forgiveness. Other less serious sins, known as venial sins, according to Catholicism, can be atoned for after death in a place called purgatory.
According to the Bible, all sins are serious, and any sin will condemn a person to hell apart from the grace of God which comes from faith in Jesus Christ, Gordon said.
“Traditionally, Catholics have interpreted purgatory as a place of punishment where a person is purified.” Gordon said. “According to Catholic theology, everyone in purgatory will eventually be purified of the taint of sin and make it into heaven.”
Mike Licona, director of NAMB’s interfaith evangelism team, said the Apostle Paul’s teaching in Philippians that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord,” contradicts the Catholic concept of purgatory.
“Christ’s atoning sacrifice covers all our sins — past, present and future,” Licona said.
Gordon said the differences in beliefs about eternal salvation between Southern Baptists and Catholics can be attributed in large part to each denomination’s view of Scripture.
Catholicism holds that its traditions are equal in authority with the teachings of Scripture. For Southern Baptists, the Bible is the sole spiritual authority.
“I do believe that it’s possible for Roman Catholics to be genuinely saved in spite of what their church teaches,” Gordon added. “It’s faith in Jesus Christ that saves, not membership in a church or denomination. Salvation is not determined by church membership. Salvation is determined by personal faith in Jesus Christ.”

To you Mr. Dan i don’t what the “interfaith” people say. i care what the Word of G-D says. i belong to a congragation that all of the congragation have COME OUT of Roman Catholicism. i love these dear sanits of G-D. i don’t hate Catholic, i love them, i want them to come out of a religion that is sending them to hell. Two books you should read are “A Women Rides The Best” by Dave Hunt, the other is Fox John “Book of The Martyrs”. If you Mr. Dan believe in Believers Baptism, you would have been murdered by the Roman Catholic Church. You know nothing about what the Catholic Church has done and is still doing to those that believe in Christ Alone! Call yourself anything BUT don’t call yourself a Bible Believing christain. i’m not attacking, i’m telling the truth. i’m well aware for a long time that this is a “Interfaith, Ecumenical” site. Islam is a Judgement on the backsliden apostate Churches. When Muslims show humanism, charity or compassion, they are doing so in spite of their faith, not because of it.
It’s a world we really do not understand.
Reverend Dan, I remember reading one of your letters when you said that no one is infallible. Generally true. Isn’t that the reason that there are many contradictory interpretations of scripture leading to several contradictory religions? Is it not true that you will encounter errors in these contradictions? Does it not follow that these errors cannot lead you to the infallible truth that leads to heaven?
But supposing God gave the capacity to a person to speak infallibly when pertaining to Faith and Morals. For waht purpose would Jesus found a church unless it spoke infallibly so that it could lead its people infallibly on the “straight and narrow”?

Reverend Dan, I have always thought you were a kind, good, and understanding person. I’m not condemning you in any way.
Maybe some Muslims, especially the good and kind Muslims, are following the God of Love because of their sincerity. I don’t believe God will condemn a person if he’s trying to do his best. Is it a person’s fault if his conscience is faulty? Supposing he thinks he is pleasing God even though he is following some error?
Are there not errors in the many contradictory Christian religions? Common sense tells me that there are errors in the many contradictory Christian religions. But will God punish a person if he is following some of these errors if he is sincere? I don’t think so.
So will a Good and Just God punish a Muslim if he is following his conscience to the best of his ability? I don’t think so.

Even across the Protestant-Catholic divide we are all Trinitarian Christians. Those dofferences are very slight and not in essentoals. Islam however came into the world specifically to deny the divinity of Christ and turn half the world away from Christianity. SchMohammad IS the anti-christ.
The Trinity and Incarnation are the chief Christian doctrines that are under attack by Islam.
The next are the doctrines of Salvation and Redemption from Sin.
You can see clearly that without these, Christianity as we know it would not exist, and we must protect them all, not by way of mindless fideism, but by way of rigorous study of what they say and their rational underpinnings.
There is much of reason in Christianity, and I would suggest a course of Thomas Aquinas reading, St. John Damascene and the patristic fathers.
There is no rational underpinning in Islam, so everything is a simple matter of faith.
We must not argue this way. We must have the scriptures and other writings, all of them, to back us up.
Only then will our adversaries see that there are real reasons to believe in these doctrines.
Where there is strife, you’ll always find a muslime…

Well, there’s no sense in me leaving a comment. Everyone seems to be on the same mental framework as I am. Pastor Dan…I like you. You know the truth. Too bad ther are so many ignoramices that refuse to read the Bible and the Qur’an and then put them down in side by side comparisons. I’ve done this with all the great religions…compared them with Christianity.
My conclusion was …Islam is not a great religion of the world, even if it has 1.5 billion adherents. Islam cannot stand on its own as a religion. It is a cult political/social/religious ideology that preys on human weakness and it uses violence, war, terror, rape conversion, and any dirty trick up its sleave to spread the cult.
Those whom they call the moderates are considered blasphemers and hypocrites and in most extreme cases, apostates of Islam and are shunned by the devout followers.
When will people wake up to reality? Is everyone on prozac or some kind of SOMA drug?
I am Islamophobic but I would rather be Islamophobic than Judaiophobic or Christophobic. I am a follower of “the TRUTH.” “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Even if every person in the world adhered to Islam, that would be no testimony of its holiness, “beauty” or “perfection”.
If anything, that would be a sure sign that the world is doomed.

Dear Babsi, Jesus came to redeem everyone. I’m not going to be harsh with a person, who has never heard about Jesus Christ, if that person is doing everything to the best of his ability to please God.
Would God condemn a person, who is a Muslim, Hindu, or of some other religion, if he is good, kind, and charitable toward his fellowman, and at the same time is trying to please God? I don’t think so. Would it be fair for God to condemn a person who has never heard of Jesus Christ if that person is following his God given conscience to the best of his ability? I don’t see how.
Don’t forget that in the beginning when Jesus instituted His church, there were many souls who had never heard of Jesus Christ, and who died before they had the chance to hear about Jesus Christ. Did God condemn ALL of these people, especially the ones who were trying to please their Creator? I don’t think so. I think it would be unjust if God condemned all these just people.
I’m not one who could condemn a non-Christian if that peron is a very kind, loving person, who at the same is trying to please his Creator.
I do condemn insincere and unjust people, especially the very evil Muslims who violently mistreat their women, daughters, and others. I believe these evil Muslims are deliberately going against their conscience. And a person is in trouble with God when he does that.

I almost didn’t post that comment from the Southern Baptist Convention because of the use of the term interfaith. The administer of this site can tell you how strongly I disagree with MOST interfaith groups.
As Southern Baptists, our Churches don’t condone (like a lot of interfaith outreach groups do), of sharing The Pulpit with Imams. I’m not going to say it has never happened, but I’ve never heard of an SBC Church sharing the Pulpit with any Religion whose Doctrine isn’t similar to that of the SBC.
As the Adminstrator said I’m not trying to force my Beliefs on you or anyone else on this site. Just as The SBC’s stance says, I cannot anymore believe ALL Catholics are condemned just as I don’t believe ALL Southern Baptist are going to Heaven. It all depends on the individual’s relationship and Faith in Jesus Christ.
Lets just agree to disagree and move on.
