The other day during my travels, I stopped to make a phone call and noticed the following two flyers posted on a lamppost on Hillside Ave, Jamaica Queens.
“Eid Mubarak” is the greeting Muslims use for the festival of Eid al-Adha, and this is a day where Muslims pray and sacrifice animals, to commemorate Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son in the name of Allah. A cow, goat, or a sheep is what is sacrificed.
Well, that is what Muslims say about Abraham. I am not positive, but I am pretty sure the language on the flyers is Bengali.
Here is the restaurant the ritual took place in.
The restaurant is located on 181St Hillside Ave, and I will not be spending a dime there. I know some people might think this is no big deal, but it is another example of how Islam is creeping into America. Step by step, Muslims move forward.
Are they planning on doing live animal sacrifice there? If so call the health inspectors or whatever you call them in New York.
That is what the holiday calls for, but it is done and over with. It took place on Tuesday.

it says they do it on the tenth of dul hijjah, during ramy. They don’t say when that it but my guess was Wednesday or Thursday based on the other reports.
Even if it is over and done with, can the health officials book someone after the crime is done?
And yes, the language is Bengali so the muslims who put up the flier are Bangladeshis.
The authorities don’t have to catch a murderer in the act to convict.
They don’t need to be there when a fraud is taking place to convict the confidence man.
When people do things, they leave trails of evidence. People are more often convicted for crimes they have done than for crimes they are in the process of doing.
Oh but with muslims it is different. Unless you catch them red handed they cry discrimination and are quickly let go.
Someone should notify PETA….. all you have to do is tell them animals were abused and they will be on them like white on rice.

Their response: All animal slaughter is cruel, so we should all become vegetarians.

The article is a little fluffy. There is no condemnation outright of what is going on.
It does not argue exactly what kind of ethics are outraged by Eid sacrifice or Halal slaughter.
It also does not show much research into the history and meaning of these practices.
I want them out of my country.
And they claim that the revelation of Mohammed is the most new, the most final.
They call themselves the vanguard of the future– those who engage in animal sacrifice as most humans did more than a thousand years ago!
Progress is evident not in what a society does, but in what it has left behind. Much of what the west abandoned was anti-humanitarian and cruel.

I don’t know what to believe. Although i know they perform this sort of things in middle east, i can’t believe all i see in US media about Islam and Muslims. I do not agree with this practice at all and i am aware of radical-fundamentalist muslims somewhere in the world. But i think there is a lot of boycott towards this religion as well.
I remember when I was a teenage, I once saw them slaughtering a goat or sheep (couldn’t tell which) in my own suburb (they were moving in and we moved out not too long afterwards).
We were driving past and they were at the side of their house, killing it in the driveway. I hope someone called the police.
I don’t condone cruelty to animals, but everyone on this site that has ever eaten meat of any kind has eaten a “slaughtered” animal. What we should be focusing on is the fact that Muslims’ freedom of religion is more protected than Christians’ freedom of religion. If a Christian practices and lives their religion, they are considered intollerant!!!

This is nothing new. And most definitely is disgusting! Peta is a wimp organization to say that all animal slaughter is barbaric! No animal needs to suffer in pain, while these so called humans sacrifice these poor animals! NZ’s animals rights group Safe.org has been instumental in stopping all halal killing in slaughter houses in NZ, without stunning first. This method is instant. Also, Costco sells halal lamb from Australia. I happened to ask someone there last night if the meat I was purchasing was halal slaughtered and he didn’t know. But I saw the lamb from Australia last time. The argument from Campbell’s is not about the meat but that the soup meets the requirements of muslims. (Includes a blessing in allah’s name). I’m personally boycotting Campbell’s. This is pervasive in the USA.

They should put a big red label on the can, that says “WARNING — Halal”. I for one don’t want to accidentally eat anything that has been blessed or dedicated to a demon.
Oh for heavens sake. Halal doesn’t necessarily mean it has the name of Allah invoked over it. Halal could just as easily mean that the soup is vegan since a lot of time soup used a meat based broth. Halal is a word that has a wide variety of meanings depending on which situation it is used in. It basically means what is legal or lawful. And as far as your inference of Islamic animal slaughter being barbaric, it is in fact the opposite. Learn something about it before you go bashing it.
