Although Pastor Jones did not follow through with his proposed “Burn a Koran Day”, the Muslims of “Muslims Against the Crusades” followed through on their promise to burn the US flag. Watch their anger, as they shout “democracy will burn, the USA will burn”. Their message is clear.
To those that believe that interfaith talks will change things, do you really think you can change their beliefs? I doubt it.

When we posted the guy burning the Koran pages on 9/11, I knew the video wouldn’t stay up long and it didn’t. However, the same standards don’t apply to Islam.
Despite Sir Winston’s pessimism on the side bar, islam is doomed. It has no technological comptency and could never survive on its own. Witness Iran not permitting the printing press in until the 1840s — and then only for printing Korans.
Doesn’t mean it won’t sow murder and mayhem wherever it goes, but it does mean that eventually it will wear itself out beating its head on the walls of modernity.
That’s what happens when all you can do is steal…it’ll be rough going as the petroleum runs out and we have to transit to other technologies, but we will. And then Islam will sink back into the sand.
IIRC, even Mohammed himself predicted this. He said the snake would slither out into the world and then slither back to Mecca where it would die…or words to that effect. I wish I could find the text.
If you haven’t looked at Mark Durie’s book, I recommend it. Not for finding anything you don’t already know, but just for the enjoyment of watching someone calmly, regretfully take Islam apart, stone by stone. What a civilized guy. He’s an Australian minister (Anglican). An Australian blogger met with him and said he’s impressive.
