LW’s Rebuttal to Carnegie Endowment for International Peace
In my return from a short break I expose the naïve and dangerous thinking of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and the original author of the article. A chap from the Islam infested UK.
H. Hellyer
Dr. H.A. Hellyer is a senior associate fellow and scholar at the Royal United Services Institute in London and a nonresident scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. His research focuses on politics, international relations, security, and religion in the West and the Arab world.
At a recent public event in Washington DC, Ilhan Omar, a US Congresswoman from Minnesota, had a harsh rebuttal to a question about female genital mutilation. The questioner wanted Ms Omar to condemn FGM.
Ms Omar, quite appropriately, pointed out that implicit in the question was an assumption about her record on the issue, and about Muslims in public life more generally. Beyond FGM, there are a number of questions that should be asked about what assumptions lie behind our questions to visibly Muslim westerners – not only in public life, but more generally in our society, too.
*When I say Muslims are responsible for everything carried out in the name of the faith, I mean the hatred and perversion that the Koran actually sanctions to this day. Reason being is that Muslims will not condemn verses in the Koran. Here is why….
- Koran verse 5:3 states that Islam is perfect.
Sahih International
Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin – then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
2. Koran verse 3:7 states that Muslims must accept the Koran as a whole.
Sahih International
It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise – they are the foundation of the Book – and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah . But those firm in knowledge say, “We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord.” And no one will be reminded except those of understanding.
3. Koran 5:44 states that if one does not judge by what Allah has revealed, they are not a Muslim.
Sahih International
Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light. The prophets who submitted [to Allah ] judged by it for the Jews, as did the rabbis and scholars by that with which they were entrusted of the Scripture of Allah, and they were witnesses thereto. So do not fear the people but fear Me, and do not exchange My verses for a small price. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed – then it is those who are the disbelievers.
In all of the years that I have been speaking out against Islam I have only gotten two so-called Muslims to condemn verses in the Koran. Guess what? They both left Islam. Because Islam is like the Mafia. Either you are in or you are out. Just as the verse above states.
Unfortunately the Koran still sanctions the following:
(Because Koran verse 33:21 instructs Muslims to follow the actions of Mohammad for all times.)
- Dominance over non-Muslims whether they like it or not. Koran 9:29.
- The taking of sex slaves.
- Plundering, Sura 8, Spoils of War.
- Death by fire as ISIS has showed the world. Koran 9:14. (After you read it, ask yourself what the punishment of Allah is.)
Ms Omar is not exaggerating the absurdity and offensiveness of this line of questioning. As a visibly Muslim woman of colour, she gets this line of question more often than most.
There is absolutely nothing absurd about protectig our future generations. Islam is what is offensive and Muslims are selfishly changing the West to suit Islam. Creating a massive culture clash. So they should be questioned as to where their loyalty lies. For example a person cannot stand with the US Constitution and the Koran. Because they contradict. That is what the questioning is about. Not racism as the author states.
SNIP: We do not make these sorts of demands of other groups, and nor should we. In much of our liberal discourse today, we bemoan the damaging effects of identity politics, in terms of how we generalise individual members of minority groups in society, and insist that they be engaged with via particular “boxes”. However, the mainstream often forces those minorities to operate fully in society only via such identity politics – and expecting them to condemn everything under the sun that is committed by a tiny percentage of members of their wider ethnic or religious groups is just one example.
Ms Omar’s intervention in this regard last week was a deeply welcome one – and we should all take heed.
No other group of people are on a worldwide jihad, attempting to turn the clock back over 1000 years. And it is your everyday Muslim who is selfishly changing the West to suit Islam. With no concerns for the beliefs and wants of non-Muslims.
Koran 3:83
Sahih International
So is it other than the religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned?
Ms Omar’s intervention was an unwelcome attempt to silence the brave critics of Islam. It is way past time that non-Muslims become more concerned with the fate of their future generations over the “feelings” of Muslims. The time to speak out is now my friends. Before it is too late….
