The good news is that the voices proclaiming the dangers of Islam are clearly on the rise! The bad news is that the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) is fully aware of this and has decided to step it up a notch.

ISNA SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

ISNA Seeks Director to Lead Anti-Muslim Bigotry Campaign

(Washington DC, Jan 11, 2011) On September 7, 2010, senior religious leaders joined ISNA to gather at an Emergency Interfaith Summit in Washington, DC to make a clear statement to the public that anti-Muslim bigotry is morally wrong and debases essential American values. They called upon America to seek its’ higher ideals by ending anti-Muslim bigotry.

Instead of calling what we do an anti-Islam movement, they label it “anti-Muslim bigotry” for two reasons. The first is to make it look it like we are picking on Muslims as people, and the second is to try to take Islam as the target out of the equation. Don’t be fooled!

Islam is what is morally wrong, and opposing it is the right thing for free societies to do. America’s higher ideals? I’ll pick just one for now.

Did the Islamic Society of North America get the memo about America ending slavery? Now, let’s see what the Islamic scriptures have to say about slavery:

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 439:
Narrated Sahl:

Allah’s Apostle sent someone to a woman telling her to “Order her slave, carpenter, to prepare a wooden pulpit for him to sit on.”

Bukhari Hadith Book 010, Number 3901:

Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported: There came a slave and pledg- ed allegiance to Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) on migration; he (the Holy Prophet) did not know that he was a slave. Then there came his master and demanded him back, whereupon Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: Sell him to me. And he bought him for two black slaves, and he did not afterwards take allegiance from anyone until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or a free man)

Before any critics of this website’s message jump in and say that those acts took place over 1000 years ago, they need to know that slavery is still legal under Islam!

THE RULES OF WARFARE

o9.13 When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of the capture, and the woman’s previous marriage is immediately annulled.

America ends the awful act of slavery, and under Islamic rule it would be brought back. That is just one example of Islamic ideals. Yet many non-Muslims actually support Islam.

As a continuation of this effort, the Multi-Religious Campaign Against Anti-Muslim Bigotry (The Campaign) was created as a one-year initiative led by approximately 25 faith-based organizations. It seeks to expand upon the work that began on September 7 and also to broaden and deepen the work of religious communities to end anti-Muslim bigotry through congregations and through state and community organizations.

Apparently, the ISNA does not believe in freedom of speech and will try anything to silence the anti-Islam movement. As for those approximately 25 faith-based organizations? They are being used; it is that simple.

Koran verse 005.051
YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.

In addition, the Campaign will expand this work internationally by making a clear statement to both the Muslim world and the international community as a whole that religious communities in the United States are committed to ending anti-Muslim bigotry.

Not wanting to be dominated by Sharia Law, does not make us bigots. It is called self-preservation. Something that is sorely lacking across the West. I didn’t realize that the ISNA was the official voice of all the religious communities in the United States.

The Campaign seeks a Campaign Director for a one-year period, January 1 – December 31, 2011. The Director will work out of the ISNA Office for Interfaith and Community Alliances in Washington DC on a full-time basis. Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits, including health care, are also provided.

Once again, we see another Islamic organization that has Washington’s ear.
