If “Islamism” is different from “Islam,” why then do they claim inspiration from the “rightly guided caliphs” of the original Muslim conquests? One could reasonably argue that medieval Islam was “moderate” in the sense that it was open to absorbing non-Islamic culture and learning from it. But this direction lost out in the 12th century, and there are centuries of writings of ISLAM that are antecedent to “ISLAMISM.” The differentiation is a forced construct. As for Zuhdi Jasser, noted in the original post, his version of Islam is nothing more than a private interpretation of his father and grandfather, and has no general authority in Islamic history or major writings.

Here is a litmus test to ferret out fake Islamic experts:

1. Islam is not a relgion. Islam is a COUNTERFEIT religion. Anyone who calls Islam a religion is incompetent and shallow minded in the extreme. These are the useful idiots aiding and abetting Islam’s conquest of America.

Jesus was born of a virgin, Mary. He was crucified so that we could come to the father (God) – He arose in 3 days and went to Heaven. He will come back one day to get his people – those people that are saved – Christians. And we will go back with him. Muhammad is a myth. I am glad that Islam people respect Jesus. I respect him too but I also love him and he lives in my heart. I love all people no matter what your religion is but I don’t have to like what you believe in. I try to live as much like Jesus as I can but no one can be that perfect. Jesus tells us to love everyone but hate the sin.
