A North American Infidels (NAI) Challenge to the Clarion Project

The other night when I was on The Last Stand Radio Show I had criticized the Clarion Fund (now the Clarion Project), for their policy of supporting so called “moderate” Muslims who are supposedly going to come riding in on their white horses and save America from Islamic rule.

Although it could be a coincidence, a member of Clarion must have been listening in or someone ran to one and told them I had publically criticized them. Because “out of the blue” they have started following me on Twitter.

Clarion follows

What is weird is that several years ago they had asked me to remove them from my email list. When I asked them why they would not respond. So why the follow now? My guess is that they did not like the negative public exposure.

As the regular readers here know I am adamantly against the message of “moderates” are going to save the day. They did not save the UK, and they will not save America. Believing so is nothing more than a self-centered feel good fantasy. An easy out for those who do not have the stomach to face the realities on the ground in the war with Islam. Those pushing the “moderates” are the answer notion are doing great harm to America. Because they are helping keep Islam alive! So course I do not support the Clarion Fund.

Let’s take a closer look at who they are: (I am only using the top three here, because they are so well known.)

Advisory Board: In December 2010, the organization announced an advisory board including:

Frank J. Gaffney, Jr., Former Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy, and President of the Center for Security Policy

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, President and Founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy

Daniel Pipes, Director of the Middle East Forum and founder of Campus Watch

1. Frank Gaffney: I fully admit he does great work exposing the Muslim Brotherhood’s infiltration of America. But that is where it seems to end. I do not seem him coming up with any answers other than this “moderate” nonsense. Has he even called for the banning of the Muslim Brotherhood?

2. Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, America’s “moderate” Muslim poster boy. Who for some reasons hides the fact that his real first name is Mohamad: Just like every other Muslim, even the “good doctor” himself will not condemn any verse in the Koran. Nor will he explain how Islam is going to reform.

Ever since 911 I have been hearing that Jasser is the answer. If that is so how come his colleague Raquel Evita told me that their “moderate” campaign has no Mosque support?

She once even tried to recruit me to their “moderate” campaign. Like Muslims across the world are going to follow my lead to reform Islam. Too funny…

3. Daniel Pipes: Just like with Gaffney, I am not going to say he hasn’t done some good work. But after that Pipes takes his America destroying behavior to another level. The man has admitted that he actually respects Islam. So in turn he respects the Islamic call to dominate all non-Muslims. By force if necessary.

Besides that he has other outrageous statements such as the following:

It is a mistake to blame Islam (a religion 14 centuries old) for the evil that should be ascribed to militant Islam (a totalitarian ideology less than a century old).

Does that include the Islamic conquests of Egypt and Persia? Or how about the Hindu Kush?

Daniel Pipes profile

Some “historian”.

From the Clarion Project’s About page:

There are times that require people to step out of their comfort zone, to step up for justice, tolerance and moderation. We know going in that the repercussions of taking action will draw a rain of accusations and attacks from the forces we are confronting.

We do it anyway. We do it because it must be done.

Founded in 2006, the Clarion Project (formerly Clarion Fund Inc) is an independently funded, non-profit organization dedicated to exposing the dangers of Islamic extremism while providing a platform for the voices of moderation and promoting grassroots activism.

Clarion’s award-winning movies have been seen by over 50 million people. They grapple with issues such as religious persecution, human rights, women’s rights, the dangers of a nuclear Iran and what the concept of jihad means for the West. Our dynamic website, viewed by over 900,000 unique visitors in 2013, covers breaking news and provides commentary on relevant issues.

The Clarion Project draws together Middle East experts, scholars, human rights activists and Muslims to promote tolerance and moderation and challenge extremism.

I know that Clarion has done some good work as well, but overall their message is slowly killing America as well. They are the ones drawing non-Muslims into a false comfort zone. As “moderates” are not going to save the day. Believing in the notion that they are is one of the reasons the West is losing this war. Another is just solely blaming “Islamism” instead of Islam itself. Just as Clarion does

North American Infidels believes that in order to win this war, Islam itself must be targeted head-on. With no compromises at all! Because anything else has been nothing more than a slow suicide.

In return for the Clarion Project follow on Twitter, as President of North American Infidels I would like to invite them to a series of debates. The first one being, “Islam or Islamism, Which is the True Threat?” The second being, “How are “Moderate” Muslims” Going to Reform Islam?” Because if we do not get to the bottom of this, it is just a matter of time until we lose this war.

We can have the debates here on Logan’s Warning, on the radio, or I am even willing to come up to the offices of Clarion in NYC.

Thank you,
Christopher
