Christian Suicide Watch: New Jersey Church Honored Ramadan ~ Video

During my Twitter travels the other night I stopped to read the page of Ingrid Mattson. She is the ex-president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).

Ingrid Mattson

Ingrid Mattson

@IngridMattson

Dr. Ingrid Mattson is a Muslim religious leader, a professor of Islamic Studies and an expert in Christian Muslim and interfaith relations.

On her anti-“Islamophobia” page there was the Tweet from NY’s interfaith Queen Debbie Almontaser (who pulled a Muslim Houdini in the middle of an online debate with me). The Tweet was her cheer-leading the fact that Clifton New Jersey’s St. Peter’s Episcopal Church actually honored the Islamic month of Ramadan.

Christian Suicide Watch:

Wow, this is the America I love & know! PLZ RT!“: Interfaith love. Church sign wishing  a Happy Eid

According to the Koran it is the month that it was sent down from the heavens with the Angel Gabriel.

Koran 002.185
YUSUFALI: Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur’an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

Besides the picture of surrender, I have also found a video made by the Church’s Reverend Peter DeFranco.

As you can see the Reverend is reaching out to Muslims. Does he really think that no other Christians have tried doing this in 1400 years? Does he not know about the centuies long Islamic persectuion Egypt’s Coptic Christians? Does he not know of the plight of the Assyrian Christians of Iraq? Or the wide spread persecution of Christians across the Islamic world? Is he not aware that the Islamic prayer preaches hatred against Christians? Is he not aware that Islam instructs Muslims not to befriend Christians? That Islam instructs Muslims to lie, and that the Koran calls for Muslim dominance over Christians? Did his Muslim “friends” not tell him about this gem from their hero Mohammad?

Muslim Hadith Book 019, Number 4366:
It has been narrated by ‘Umar b. al-Khattib that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.

Reverend I believe you mean well, but your outreach will not change what Islam is. Nor will it make Muslims side with Christians over what they believe is the word of God.

Koran verse 010.064
YUSUFALI: For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present and in the Hereafter; no change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme felicity.

The Reverend even praises Allah. Does he believe the God of Islam is also the God of Christianity? If so why would the God of Christinaity be OK with Muslims dominating Christians?

Reverend, all you and the other Islam cuddling Churches are doing is making things worse in the long run for the future generations of Christians in America. The sooner Islam is accepted for the major threat it is to Christians and all non-Muslims the better. Please do your job and protect Christianity.

On more thing Reverend. The Islamic scriptures state that Jesus will come back as a Muslim and destroy Christianity (break the cross). Do you believe that Jesus is happy with you promoting that notion? I highly doubt it…

Reverend DeFranco can be reached HERE.

If anyone is interested, the video was posted on the following YouTube page.It was full of “misconceptions” about Islam which I and a few others kindly corrected. Have fun!

Let’s face it… they are unrepentant, pro-islamic supremacy, and islam’s future members. They certainly are not apart of the Christian Gospel.

I wonder how Islam will be treating the Gay clergy of the Episcopals in return for this honor?

It is amazing that they do not think of that Isabella.

Yes, that we must be careful not to be deceived. I think this is the time spoken of.SO many are deceived into believing Islam is benign in spite of its violent history and present actions worldwide..
And Matt.24.9 ““Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10“At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. 11“Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12“Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. 13“But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

In UK Muslims are now holding up placards stating ‘stop Christian extremists’. I can’t give further info as I was scrolling down on a few sites and this happy message with a pic of bearded loonies appeared.
I can’t stop laughing! In the ridiculous stakes, they have taken top prize IMO.
Must rush off to see the vicar and complain that I wasn’t invited to any beheadings.

Who are the alleged “Christian extremists”?

If someone walked up to this group of Muslims and criticized Mohammad, we would probably see who the “extremists” are.

Chris (admin). I can’t help you there. I haven’t found any yet. When I’ve questioned Christians about savage Islam, they just say that they can do nothing but pray. Such violence against the oppressed Muslims!!

Hilarious indeed. Poor vicar, remind him while you are there that he might be on the list of “dangerous extremists” !!
Exactly…I would not know what a Christian extremist was/is supposed to do/be?
er..a reincarnated “Crusader” maybe? Oh yes millions of them around…
      We wish….LOL

Brit in exile (best place IMO). A placard stated ‘Jihad against extremist Christians’ so now it’s open war against the Christians who are sending money to Muslims to stop them from starving.

They are just one day closer to that in which the knife is at their necks.
Islam is spread by the sword.
And it is always spread, it conquers, it will not allow what is not Islam to stand.
If these congregations existed in Muslim countries, they would be forbidden to proselytize, build new churches and maintain the churches they have.
The traffic in Christian books would cease and go underground.
The manufacture of religious items would be done in secret.

eib, Islam is also spread by lies. A Muslim street proselytiser told me that Christians in Saudi Arabia have churches, they are allowed to build churches and that it was just the same with building mosques in the UK.
He had lived and worked in Saudi Arabia, so it must be true!
Not what I’ve read about Saudi Arabia. Christians are not allowed to wear crosses or bring bibles into the country. God forbid that anyone should try to civilise that country.

In the history of the oh so tolerant Ottoman Empire, five Orthodox patriarchs were beheaded by five caliphs.
How could anyone think of Islam as tolerant?

  6. August 28, 2012 at 8:21 am

Sickening! Not only have they come to break the Cross but the ignorant Christians let them.

The broken cross is also the LEFTIST “peace” sign… “ban the bomb” and all that, remember ?It is all part of the same anti-Christ stuff.

I confronted Ingrid when she came to St Louis. When I mentioned the law of abbrogation she basically accused me of a hate crime.

    http://www.spiritofresistance.blogspot.com/2012/04/st-louis-shariah-law-alert.html

The Episcopal Church has been destroyed from the inside by communists; ok they had a lot of help from useful idiots.

    http://stmarysvicar.blogspot.com/2012/07/north-american-episcopal-church-goes.html

This is the normal communist tactic of replacing real institutions with fake ones. The same can be said for the United Church of Christ which has a famous Muslim, Rev Wright as one of it’s pastors. There are many others fake churches including the gay hating, war protesting church Westboro Baptist which act more like a bunch of Code Pinkers than Baptists.

The fact that the Catholic Church which has catechism 841, which in fact states that Muslims will be going to heaven (but not the protestants) can not be overlooked.

If you’re looking for video proof from a Soviet expert Yuri is the best.

      end

I find this part of the Catechism to be beneath contempt.
It is quite obvious that the Protestant and Catholic are both Christians.
Salvation is more important than anything else, and threatening Protestants or denigrating their faiths is un-Christian.
To elevate the claims of Islam is to embrace evil.
Please compare and contrast the position of Orthodox Christians.
You will never find an Orthodox Church posting a sign saying “Eid Mubarak.”
      Never.
      Why?
They have lived under the grinding heel of the Ummah.
They know by their experience what Islam is about.
I trust them more than the Pope in the matter.

The new liturgies proposed for the Episcopal and Anglican churches are written such that they do not refer to the Trinity, nor do they center the claim that Jesus is the Son of God.
All of these are concessions to Islam.
The Patriarch of Constantinople is braver.

Very true eib. Orthodox Christians are amazing. They make no concessions ever to Islam. Neither do the ex-Muslims of course (many tortured before escaping to the West) within their ranks.

The Egyptian Father Zacharia never bows to Islam and has been instrumental in many conversions from Islam. He faces death threats continually. His preaching and interviews can be found on youtube.

I love the stories of former Muslims who have converted. Their narratives are extraordinary in that they are proof that one must truly have a revelation, a powerful and holy one, to take the chance to become Christian.
I heard one man, who was a convert who was killed by the Iranian government in 1993, say that Christ chooses Christians.
Most of the time, you can preach to Muslims or try to fawn in their presence, but this only serves to close their eyes to the debasement of their souls by their profane worship.
But to call their worship what it is, profane, and their doctrines what they are, errant, is to tell simple truth.
If any are curious, perhaps they will read our scriptures.
Still, they will not convert unless Christ himself calls them.
And he does come to these people– he really does take the side of the hopeless submissive in order to give him the strength to stand on his own and ask to be saved.

Very true eib. I have ex-Muslim friends. Jesus indeed actually appeared to some of them in visions, or they were awe-struck by some revelation or other.
There is no going back for them. Torture or no torture, family enmity or not, nothing can separate them from Jesus. They are all willing to die for Him if need be. ! My own faith was re-ignited through meeting these people and their Arab-orthodox churches. Never had I come across such love and unwavering dedication to Jesus and selfless sacrifical care for one another. Never in my life. They are to me modern-day converts from the book of Acts. I feel humbled and honoured to have met them, been welcomed by them, and I have also learned so much more about Islam than even years of research taught me.

Although the sharmuta Mattson is canadian, her name is very telling of where her roots are. In either of the three scandinavian countries. Which makes not only sick but also ashamed that we have exported such an eidiot to you canadians. I’m certain that her forefathers that once travelled westwards would be even more ashamed of her, had they still been alive today. If they had been seeking pislam, they would rather have travelled eastwards.

This should not happen again until the New Jersey’s St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Christian congregation is invited to celebrate Easter in a local New Jersey mosque. Of course all Christian symbols such as crucifixes must be permitted in the mosque. Lot’s of singing.

And the Paschal Candle, and all those bright-colored vestments!
The Son of God, in Light gloriously rises and all that . . .
      The Mohammedans’ heads would explode.

Inviting muslims into your Christian church is an insult to God .Why would you welcome the very evil we are warned to avoid in the bible. All that they believe is an opposite to our 10 commandments, they should not be allowed to step foot in a holy place.

Amen Doris, very well said. I wish more would be so clear !!
They should indeed never be allowed to defile our churches with their doctrines of devils.
Denying the Son of God blatantly, those Christians may as well let a bunch of satanists in and welcome them.(“Oh well, we have a few er differences, but on the whole I am sure we can find some common ground somewhere, like we all worship one god whatever you wish to call Him/it ????” !!!!!!)

Brilliant point! As this subtle brainwashing of vulnerable kids is actually even worse and from what I have heard nothing we can do about it. I heard of kids being punished in UK for not taking part in mosque visits or Islamic praying rubbish ???
If the churches launched mass protests something would be done, as it is they are in on it ! Like some creepy sci-fi horror-film “muslim apocalypse”

Then the stupid leftists who believe it is “no worse than Christian brainwashing at school”
What? Singing hymns at assembly, and learning about love forgiveness and mercy is a BAD thing?
They would of course rather the kids learned hatred, Jihad, oppression of women and how to behead your neighbour??

      Hi Charlie,

Muslims love to say they respect Jesus in order to get non-Muslims to accept Islam. What they do not want Christians to know that it is a VERY different version of Jesus. One that will comeback as a Muslim and destroy Christianity (break the cross).

    Dearest Brothers and Sisters,
This message from St. Peter’s Episcopal Church is heartening. The version of Jesus that both Christians and Muslims agree on is the version that promotes peace and understanding, a messenger of the mercy of God on earth. With this in mind, is not St. Peter’s sign following the work of Jesus?
There are many people who are (in our opinions) undeserving of this kind of understanding and this message of peace. Many people we would turn our backs to and shun, but the final Judge will be God on the Last Day. We know this. Let us not cast stones at those who are trying to expand the circle of human recognition of God’s mercy on earth. Jesus came as a major part of that mercy to mankind; as our teacher. And what a blessed teacher!
There were many comments here that confused me, and I believe we could all use some more knowledge (I say that as a reminder to myself). Let us continue to strive to seek knowledge here on earth of our neighbors (St. Peter parish and Muslims included) while we still can. Here are a few sites that provide clarification on some issues commonly misunderstood:

On how Muslims perceive Jesus Christ:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/islam/beliefs/isa.shtml

On what “jihad” means in Arabic and what it meant to the Prophet Muhammad and his followers:
    http://www.beliefnet.com/Faiths/Islam/2006/02/What-Does-Jihad-Really-Mean.aspx

On Religious Tolerance (Note: the background image says in calligraphy, “God” and in smaller letters, “Muhammad”):
    http://www.valoothoor.com/ramadan10.htm

    In peace and understanding,
    Mary

      Hi Mary,

Sorry, but you have been conned. Muslims believe that Jesus will come back as one of them and destroy Christianity. (Break the cross). Islam also calls for the domination over Christians. Therefore it is not the same God as of Christianity.

As for jihad, there is more than one meaning. One is warfare to spread Islamic rule. That is in the Reliance of the Traveller, which is approved by Egypt’s Al Azhar. Did you also know that Muslims are instructed to lie? How many more Christians most suffer because of Islam until the Churches faces the reality of the issue?

      Thanks for dropping by!

      Chris

        Jesus was boring.
        He did not own slaves.
        He did not stone anyone.
He did not have a favourite sword with its own name.
He did not consummate marriage with a nine-year-old.
He did not order feet and hands to be cut off.
