I guess many of these churches, in their naivité and stupidity, think they can make the Muslims “see the light”. Have they learned nothing?! On another note, in Europe the first thing many Muslims do upon arrival is “convert” to Christianity. That way they won’t risk being sent back to their countries of origin because they claim they’ll get killed or at the very least, ostracized. You gotta hand it to ‘em. Pretty shrude.

  • margaret

As far as I see, there are no Catholic Churches listed above. They are very aware of what islam’s goal is- Remember Pope Benedict made a statement to that effect and had to apologize? Old Catholic Church is another break off group from Catholicism.

    • http://madaboutmahound.blogspot.com/ Gary Rumain

I read something the other day about the Pope warning Catholic women to stay away from arselifters. Damn, I should have linked it when I had the chance.

      Anyone, Catholics should know better.

      • American Source

margaret, Yes, there were Catholic churches that allowed the abomination of Islam teach and preach in their churches. Perhaps you just overlooked them:

1.Light of Christ Ecumenical Catholic Church, Longmont CO

        2. North American Old Catholic Church, Washington DC

        3. St. Thomas Mission, Chicago IL

        4. Cathedral of the Diocese of Vermont, Burlington, VT

        • Neal

All of the cso called “catholic’ churches here, if you run a search on them, are breakaway churches who are either not loyal to the magisterium, or not ROMAN catholic. one of them may be Episcopalian.

        • Kevin

The “Light of Christ Ecumenical Catholic Church” and the “Old Catholic Church” aren’t Catholic. They are simply Protestants who tacked the word “Catholic” to their moniker.

    • TheOldCrusader

Margaret: There are no Catholic churches listed because a building consecrated to Catholic worship can’t be used for another religious purpose.

It would be all right for a Catholic church to allow an Islamic service in the parish hall, but not in the church.

The pope didn’t say that Islam was an enemy. What he did in his Regensburg address was quote an old Byzantine emperor who was debating a Moslem. The Emperor stated that Islam had added nothing to religion except that which was either “schlecht und inhuman”. This phrase was incorrectly translated as ‘wicked and inhuman’ when it should have been translated as something like ‘shoddy and inhumane’.

The bad translation work was used to stir up controversy.

    • Kevin

Pope Benedict never apologized for what he said. He did apologize if his comments “offended anyone”.

      Big difference.

    • Robin Smith-lutz

The breakaway is Society St Pius X, Society St Pius V. We still embrace Tradition and attend the Tidentine Mass. Be aware that when the Crusades were fought the only form of Christianity was Catholicism…and then it was the “breakaways” are too. True to Tradition. We know the Moselms well…their “religion” was founded to eliminate Catholicsm…whoelse by Satan himself woulf want to do so??

      • Dan

“Be aware that when the Crusades were fought the only form of Christianity was Catholicism”

Wow! You really should check your history! If you did you would find that “Roman Catholicism” as it is known today is only about 1000yrs old.

        • americanme

In Houston Texas the First Presbyterian Church read the bleedin Koran in the sanctuary on Sept. 11th. Another Presbyterian church put Korans in the benchbacks.

Sadly many “Novus ordo” Catholics who have lapsed from the faith coddle moselms too…we have a few in our extended family.

Actually Catholic churches in Belguim covered up the statuary and invited muslims to use the churches to pray when they first started infiltrating Belgium.

  • coolpillow

Add the Sautee-Nacoochee Presbyterin Church in Georgia.

  • Robin Shadowes

Those fools with either be beheaded or converted themselves to pislam when the time comes. As they sow, so they will reap and they will reap the whirlwind.

  • The Anti-islam

There are some Episcopal churches on here, but we have a carpet muncher bishop too, so not surprising.

  • Pisslam

I just recd a call from this number 706-705-8888 and a female first said salam-alekum (sic) and then said we give free online koran teaching for your kids are you interested. How sick can these basta-r-ds get? They are now targeting via online calls and telemarketing also. When will the leaders of US wakeup and destroy those trying to hijack our nation from the inside just like UK got screwed up? My research on this number and it said this is used by telemarketers or those using google chat or google mail. Brothers, pls beware of such criminals who break the backbone of a country from inside by teaching koran to children. Donot fall for this trap, steel your resolve to throw this scm out of our good country! God bless america.

  • http://madaboutmahound.blogspot.com/ Gary Rumain

That’s some list, Chris. I should point out that Baha’i isn’t Christian though.

  • CGW

Whew. Thanks for that, Chris. Only one in my entire state and it’s way up in the frozen north. None nearby, which actually surprises me due to the fact that we have one of the largest if not THE largest Somali mohammedan populations in the country. Perhaps that’s why.

  • Jim

The foundation of christian faith, all denominations, is that Jesus is the Son of God, was slain as the Lamb of God for the sins of mankind, rose again on the 3rd day to be seated at the right hand of God. NOW, Islam DENIES the crucifixtion that Jesus was even on the cross. We are told by muslims that allah replaced Jesus on the cross with Judas, that allah the DECEIVER was at work. Islam denies that Jesus Christ rose again since Jesus didnt’ die in the first place on the cross. THESE ARE THE FUNDAMENTALS OF WHAT CHRISTIANS BELIEVE AND WHAT MUSLIMS BELIEVE. Does anyone care to explain to me the “compatibility” of such basic beliefs ????

CHRISTIANS….BE NOT DECEIVED….PAUL WARNED US THAT IF ANYONE COME TO YOU PREACHING ANOTHER GOSPEL OTHER THEN CHRIST SLAIN AND ROSE AGAIN, THEN THEY ARE PREACHING FALSE DOCTRINE.

  • emmi

Margaret, quote ‘No Catholic churches listed above’. The Catholic church always keeps a low profile when it suits, but in Europe cardinals say ‘now we can link with Islam and defeat this secularism that is spreading across Europe’. From my observations, secularists do not want religious wars, amputations, misogyny and stoning for adultery. The average good natured Catholics should keep a beady eye on their leaders.

What those so called Christian Churches are doing is Crazy and Sin. Now those so called Christian Churches are now going to team up with the Muslims to do Jihads. Muslims and those so called Christian Churches are now going to blow up the White House, the Pentagon, Wall Street and other high populated and meaningful places. I am Apostolic Christian and I am Against Chrislam which this is about!

    • linda Jam

liberal Christians don’t get it. there is no such thing as Chrislam. the mussies believe that Mo. is the last prophet. he is considered to be superior to the Messiah, Jesus Christ who the mussies consider a prophet. the Mussies are simply laying in wait to pounce. at the moment, they are stalking us like a pack of rabid wolves. when the time is right they will rise up and the genocide will begin. Take a look a Egypt which was once a Christian country. Now,its completely islamized and without hope of a sustainable future.

  • http://www.tartanmarine.blogspot.com Robert A. Hall

I’m for allowing Muslims to speak and preach in Christian churches. It should be done on the same Sunday that Christian services are held in Mecca. Not before, of course.

chris, I have had conversations with a few pastors. they think they’re being cool but as we well know they nothing but brown nosers. Its amazing the stupdity of these people. A pastor( St. John Episcopal Church in North Jersey)asked me in a mean tone, “what do you know about the religion? its a religion of peace.” I told him that I have had intimate contact with Muslims. I know Islam because I lived it. He backed off but I don’t think I got thru to him. My belief is traitor Christians will wake up when blood runs in the streets. thats exactly where we are headed. OMG!!

    • New Crusader

I would like to hear more of your story. I believe Chris started a section for people with a muslim past to contribute to.

    • eib

The problem of these pastors is that they want everyone to be their friend. It isn’t possible, even in the best of all possible worlds.

    • eib

      what New Crusader said.
We stand right with you. You have not abandoned anything that is holy. If anything, you have come to peace with humanity by becoming a child of God.

  • Auntie Izlam

Maybe someone should send these idiots links to the numerous stories of Christians being murdered by muslims all over the world on a daily basis or Political Islam’s weekly Bulletin of Christian persecution? Their time would be better spent working to protect Christians from muslims rather than kissing islam’s butt as they are now doing. Seriously, has everyone lost their minds?………… Judging by the insane verdict in the Anthony case today, I think so.

    • New Crusader

I don’t think they read anything sent to them. I’v never received a response from any of the religious leaders I’ve e-mailed, the only one who has responded to my requests has been my congressman. It do believe I received a somewhat personal response the last time. No Pastor, Minister, Priest has responded, I’ve been courteous, and respectful, never vulgar, but still no response. I believe they are all stuck in their high minded all inclusive, and tolerant fiction which they have failed to think through. They are desperately out of sync with their profession of faith. At very best they are in a deep form of denial, or maybe afraid to lose their job for not complying to a higher up who’s even more compromised. Maybe someday one will respond with something other that the party lie.

      • emmi

New Crusader, write again and be disrespectful, discourteous and extremely vulgar. You have nothing to lose.

  • Angela

How can the House of the Lord become divided? Maybe this is what Jesus was talking about.

  • Mary

In PA, a lot of Quaker Meeting Houses have been opening their doors to talks from CAIR representatives.

    • admin

Why don’t they do their own research?

      • http://madaboutmahound.blogspot.com/ Gary Rumain

        Too lazy?

    • eib

Many Quakers and Episcopalians have adopted a unitarian view of God. That is, they have abandoned the Trinity.
I’ve written about this before, but a Unitarian doctrine is very, very weak in the confrontation with Islam because it does not have the scriptural and historical underpinnings that Trinitarian doctrine does.
For the person who has adopted a Unitarian stance, Christianity is no different from Islam, Jesus is only a prophet (not the Son of God) and Christianity contains nothing that is unique to itself.
In other words, if you adopt a Unitarian stance, you will be “pleasing” to Muslims and Jews.
The fact remains though, that the NT and even OT scriptures confirm the humanity of God and that Jesus is his Son.
I’ve seen Unitarians whose heads nearly explode when these facts are brought up.

      • americanme

Unitarians in my city “share” their parking lot with the mosque that built right beside them but did not allow for a parking lot for it’s minions. Unitarian doctrine is that anything you believe is ok. There are many paths to God.

  • Michelle

I bet this list will only grow in length.
What weak christians. playing patty cake with the devil.

  • belinda

I cant remember the names but they had some chrislam days in houston at some churches.
christians look at the list and if your church is on it Get OUT

    • americanme

First Presbyterian and I think Champions Presbyterian church are what you are thinking of.

  • Christian Rideout

The Baha’i faith is not Christian. It doesn’t belong on this list for more than that reason. It bears a relationship to Islam that is similar to the relationship between Christianity and Judaism. Indeed, as a Baha’i for 30 years (now returned to the Episcopal Church), I was particularly sympathetic to Islam.

I retain respect for Islam, and I disagree with many statements made here to separate Islam from the Abrahamic tradition. However, Islam is not Christianity and should not be proclaimed in Christian churches.

I have seen the Qur’an displayed along with the Old Testament and Gospels in the new Roman Catholic cathedral in Oakland, California. This is inappropriate.

    • eib

The display of Quranic texts and their use in Catholic services is not orthodox Catholic practice, and indeed is in violation of a specific instruction given by the Vatican in 2004.

  • http://www.calvary-episcopal.org Michael Rasicci

Nearly 25 years ago, depending on who’s telling the story, the Batavia, IL Islamic community was invited to use a large, partially unfinished room in the basement of the education wing of Calvary Episcopal Church, Batavia, in the Diocese of Chicago. When the community grew large enough that they could construct their own mosque, one group left to do so, but some of the originals remained behind and continue to this day to have their mosque in the basement far at the opposite end of the building from the church. There has never been any syncretistic worship, nor will there ever be, as long as I am the Rector. The relationship proved very important, I am told, after September 11, 2001, for the community as a whole. We have had a cordial and respectful relationship with them, and have been privileged to host delegations of Islamic visitors in a program designed by the Department of State. They have their services on Fridays, and some of the men come nightly for prayers, entering through the usual door, going down the stairs, and proceeding to the far south end of the building. There has never been a problem, except an occasional misunderstanding concerning use of other space in the vicinity of the mosque, and that because of the children not cleaning up after themselves. I was asked not long ago to address the community about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. A time has not been set, but I will do so. They will not accept it, but they need to hear it. Neither we nor they proselytize. The situation I inherited when I arrived on the scene as Rector in 2002 has been a very good one, and has fostered a different view of Islam, than that which is usually portrayed. If it were different, we would have parted company long before my arrival. It is possible to be respectful and welcoming without capitulating to them. As for Blessed John Paul II kissing a Q’uran, perhaps one must see it as a sign of respect for the people being visited, albeit over the top.

    • admin

      Hi Michael,

You said: “has fostered a different view of Islam” In other words you have admittedly placed yourself in a world of denial. Islam calls for the dominance of Christians, and the ultimate destruction of Christianity. Do you really believe the God of Christianity wants such a religion promoted in Church? Do you think Jesus would have supported Mohammad the rapist? Muslims are on a worldwide Sharia movement and here you are helping them. Do you want your future generations to be forced to live under Sharia Law? Have you even thought about that?

    • eib

      Quote:
As for Blessed John Paul II kissing a Q’uran, perhaps one must see it as a sign of respect for the people being visited, albeit over the top.
      end

I understand what you’re saying, but I still see it as betrayal.
My perspective is historical and I can’t help but see the history of al-Dhimma, the Dar al-Islam and the Dar al-Harb in Western dealings with Islam.
Five Orthodox patriarchs were beheaded by the Caliphs in the Ottoman Empire.
To see the Pope kissing a Quran seems to me like rank cowardice.

    • eib

      Quote:
When the community grew large enough that they could construct their own mosque, one group left to do so, but some of the originals remained behind and continue to this day to have their mosque in the basement far at the opposite end of the building from the church.
      end

I can think of no other word for this than OCCUPATION.
      Your church is being occupied.
You must either submit, or leave.
The Dar Al-Islam will not be extirpated from your church.
Your Christianity, and your Christ, they are implying, has no truth, no integrity, and will have none of their respect.
To give your church to them has been a great, great strategic blunder.

      • eib

If you try to undo this mistake, you could easily be terrorized or killed.
The Muslims who so assiduously pray in your basement will not be told what to do by you. The Diocesean ownership of the property means absolutely nothing to these barbarians.

    • americanme

Sir the reason some of them did not leave is because they are remaining to guard the claim that has been staked on your church. You don’t know it but your building belongs to them now under the tenants of sharia law. If you asked them to move they will not. They would try to find some loop hole in the law that would say that due to length of occupation they are owners of at least that part of your church by default. If that did not work they would probably disrupt your services on Sunday. You and your congregation are full fledged dhimmi’s.

What you are doing is horrible to God and you can be sure they would under no circumstances ever allow you you to worship in a mosque.

  • Will Bailey

I notice there are no Orthodox churches listed among those embracing apostasy as well.

    • eib

And you won’t, because the Orthodox institutions know Islam far better, and know also how much ground to give it.

So the churches welcome Muslim “interfaith” dawa.

    Quote:
Following Friday sermons people in the cit [sic] of Zakho attacked liquor stores, massage parlors and hotels.

Mansour, a Christian, said he had received messages threatening to burn down his business. He said he had informed the local mayor and security officials about the threats, but was reassured that nothing would happen.

“We also did not expect anything to happen because this is a Christian place and there are no Muslims,” Mansour told Rudaw.

    http://www.jihadwatch.org/2011/12/iraq-many-teachers-encourage-students-to-oppose-christians-and-their-places-of-worship.html

Muslims teach Christians that they want peace.
Muslims gang up together in their mosques, share some of the hate, and then,
    Kristallnacht, Kristallnacht, and Kristallnacht!

    Quote:
Two students detained by the security forces have allegedly confessed that their teacher had incited them to attack the church.

“This kind of culture did not exist in Kurdistan’s society and should not be allowed,” said Mansour.
    end

This kind of culture did not exist in Germany before 1914 either.
And then mere anti-Semitism turned from virulent to lethal.
Iraq and Egypt have taken that turn, the same one that the Nazis took.
And the Christians are . . . the new Jews.
And the Jews will suffer and die as much or even more than the Christians.

  • Michael C

“First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people”

Muslim saying, used as graffiti, meaning:

“First the Jews, then the Christians.”
