~”Christians” Believe Bin Laden’s Death Will Reconcile Muslims With Them…~

As soon as I heard about Bin Laden’s death, I had a nagging suspicion that it would only make our jobs here tougher in the future. I fear that more bad than good will come from this news. It IS a miraculous turn of events that the world’s Number One Terrorist is dead! Yet, this will only help boost Obama at election time and allow more non-Muslims to feel comfortable enough to drop their guards in the war with Islam. Another thing that I see coming out of this is that Muslims will manipulate his death in an effort to con non-Muslims to now release their affront on Islam and retreat. Many are happy to believe that the problem has evaporated with the bursts of gunfire that ended OBL’s life! Trust me… it has NOT!

Pasadena faith community responds in the wake of bin Laden’s death

PASADENA – All Saints Church changed its daily noon Eucharist on Monday in the wake of news that Osama bin Laden was killed.

The progressive Pasadena church centered its noon service around peace and reconciliation, something its clergy thought was necessary to counterbalance the violence embodied by the international terrorist.

“We live in a violent world, but we follow a lord who told us to be people of peace,” said Susan Russell, a senior associate pastor at All Saints.

This is another Church that needs a reality check. The Islamic community does not want reconciliation, they want to dominate Christians as their scriptures call for. (Koran verse 9:29). They are following a religion that calls for perpetual war.

Bukhari Hadith Volume 1, Book 2, Number 25:

Narrated Ibn ‘Umar:
Allah’s Apostle said: “I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah’s Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform that, then they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah.”

That is the reality of the situation, and the fantasy the Church wants will not become a reality.

The church posted news of change in the noon service on its Facebook page and tweeted the information. Russell said Sunday’s news pushed the church to act in what clergy thought was the best interest of the community.

Balancing between her peace mission and The War on Terror is something Russell struggled with before bin Laden’s death.

Her son is an active duty soldier in the U.S. Army and has served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“I straddle between the paradox of being a mother of a son on active duty and a pastor of peace,” she said. “There is no easy answer.”

But Russell still held out hope that bin Laden’s demise will open up a broader conversation about violence that will tip the balance toward a more peaceful world.

You want to have a conversation? Have a real one about the violence that stems from Islam!

“My deepest hope is that we are going to outgrow our addiction to violence,” said Russell. Glen Stassen, professor of Christian ethics at Fuller Theological Seminary, joined All Saints in condemning the violence epitmozed by bin Laden.

Christians have been persecuted because of Islam for nearly 1400 years. Isn’t it time for the Christians of the world to start condemning Islam itself?

Muslim Hadith Book 019, Number 4366:
It has been narrated by ‘Umar b. al-Khattib that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.

Getting back to Stassen…

“I am not in favor of killing anybody,” Stassen said. “I am really glad he is captured. I wish we had negotiated with the Taliban after 9/11 to get him to a trial in a Muslim country.”

What are you talking about Stassen? He was NOT captured, he was killed! The more you talk, the more I see just how uniformed you are on this issue.

Instead of turning bin Laden into a martyr, Stassen would have preferred seeing the terrorist condemned by a Muslim court and a religion whose followers had turned hostile to the terrorist’s cause.

Now he was martyred….which is it, dead or captured? Do you really think the Islamic world cares what you would have preferred? Islam has been hostile since the days of Mohammad. How do you not know this?

He cited a recent Newsweek cover story claiming bin Laden had lost favor in the Muslim world.

“Osama bin Laden is not a Muslim leader, he is a mass murderer of Muslims,” Stassen said. “I’m trying to help Muslim leaders separate the extremist from the sensible Muslims.”

Was Mohammad an “extremist? Please point out the “sensible” Muslims who are fighting Sharia Law across the West.

Stassen said bin Laden’s life should never serve as an example of the faith of Islam or any faith.

“Hate is not a Christian or a Muslim virtue.”

Unfortunately, YOU do not get to dictate what Islam is! Your words are hollow; Mohammad was a self-professed terrorist.

Bukhari Hadith Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220:
Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand.” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).

It is high time that we ALL face these realities! Are you prepared to take a firm stand for your Christian brothers and sisters?! All you need to do is to condemn Islam because it persecutes them all! You CAN do it!

Christopher…At the risk of appearing a MCP, which I am not. May I make some general observations?
People: This is not to start an out and out war. If you want to start a 1000 post blog, go elsewhere.
Someone commented that if Clinton had the say-so on the trigger, OBL would still be alive. Pastor Susan changing the service to accommodate the death of a non-Christian, Christian and Jew hater. Lisa Logan apologising for being groped when she went to report in a volatile muzzlim area “It’s ok, they were only doing what they were brought up to do”!!
Where Chesler, Wolfe, Pizzey, Greer et al, are silent. They should be jumping up and down about the female role in izzlam. They are not; why not?
The left/liberals are emasculated, testosterone-free “Yes miss” ‘men’ (I am assuming they have a y chromosome), stand by and bleat whatever mantra they are told to by their wimmin. Unfortunately these people are heard above the un-pc brigade who are stifled.
They put a *Jewish feminist* as editor of some rag and straight away she implements muzzlim appeasment and death to the oppressive Israelis. How does that work then?
I have written everything but said it outright.
Politicians, Leaders, Generals: Grow a pair..Get some liquid testosterone…implant a ‘y’ chromosome…fight this fight on equal terms. They snipe or roadside bomb a soldier – take out a stronghold. You know where they are! Get rid of them. They demonstrate and say that USA/UK are spawn of Satan; they say thatUSA/UK soldiers rape and murder children – put them on a slow boat to islamamuzzlimbagdad or wherever they will be feted, not given more handouts from my taxes or your ‘tax-dollars’
    Rant over.

Should a freemason such as yourself be worried about handouts from your taxes?

Brother you have opened a can of worms with this article! You are good at that though, it’s one of the reasons I love this site! Never boring, always thought provoking, and for the most part not like many of the other sites that are simply hate sites. If you don’t mind I would like to address this article/issue from a Christian viewpoint, and I’m sure I too will open a can of worms, touch a nerve etc..

When the news of UBL’s demise came across the net, my first response as a good ole southern redneck was to grab my 9mm roll outside in my wheelchair and unload the clip while yelling with joy and pride in our military.

Almost as quick as that thought crossed my mind, the ex Police Chief in me said Whoa! Remember when the towers fell? Remember when the news reports showed muslims celebrating in the sreets? Those images made me hate about as much, maybe even more, than watching our American Brothers and Sisters jump from the towers.

The part of me that is a student of islam knows that 10% of a muslims are what I call devout, what the Lamestream Media, Uneducated Preachers, and the left call radicals, but that another 25% are sitting on the fence. They are just waiting for something to happen to push them over the edge…For many of those, the news video’s shown around the world of us celebrating UBL’s death in the streets of the US will be enough to push them into that “Devout/Radical” stage.

This all literally went thru my head in no more than 2-3 minutes. Then since I am a Preacher, I’m ashamed to say it hit me “How should I feel as a Christian? As a Preacher?” These should have been my first thoughts. Much has been written and said by Pastor’s from the left, the middle, and the right, on how Christians should feel/act about UBL’s death. I’ve Prayed about it and talked with 20-25 Pastor friends of mine, I’ve searched the Scriptures. For your readers who are Christians, and like me and every Pastor I’ve talked with but one, have struggled with the appropiate Christian response I hope this helps!
1.) As a Christian I can be glad UBL is gone, he was evil, he was a threat to Christians and innocent people of any and all Faiths, including people with no faith.Jesus tells us to obey the laws of God and man UBL consistently violated both!
2.) As a Christian I have to work on NOT being glad he didn’t convert from islam to Christinity, The Sriptures tell us Jesus weeps for everyone who dies without knowing Him and whose soul is lost. I personaly am really having to work on that one!
3.) As a Christian I have to realize UBL’s death is going to make things worse, before they get better. This means I MUST work harder to warn my more liberal, more uneducated (when it comes to islam) Ministers of the dangers of islam to the Christian Church!
4.) As a Christian I must Pray more often, and more FAITHFULLY, for Divine intervention in the hearts of muslims. That the Holy Spirit will convict them and lead them away from the EVIL that is islam!
5.) As a Christian I MUST increase my efforts to witness to muslims!
6.) I must NOT feel guilty for having feeling of satisfaction that UBL is gone!

Chris I hope this helps any of your Christian readers who are struggling with the Christian response! Thanks for all you do!

Christians better wake up and wake up NOW. Muslims will be coming after them even more so than before the FAKE DEATH of Osama The CIA Boogeyman. And if you don’t think Obama did this as a way to give Israel to the radicals….. look at the Middle East in a month.

If the brain-washed masses in the USA don’t stop listening to everything their government tells them, their country will be owned by China.

Maybe if you stopped bombing the Muslim world and stealing its oil they wouldn’t bomb you. BTW, when are you peaceful Christians going to leave the Middle East?
    When Osama’s dead- done!
    When democracy arrives- done!
    When Saddam’s gone- done!

Dammit, you Judeo-Christian Americans won’t leave the MidEast until you are bombed out. Sad but true!!!

Maybe you should educate yourself on the issue before you comment here. Muslims attacked America long before we were over there. Google the Barbary Coast Wars. Then you might want to educate yourself to the fact that Muslims are causing the same problems across the world, even in countries that are not at war in the Middle East.

BTW, Muslims SELL us the oil, and this has nothing to do with race.

      end quote.

      A lie.
The Muslims world has been at war with the non-Muslim world since Islam began.
There is no peace to be made.
There are only truces to be made to gain advantage over the non-Muslims.
And all truces break. All of them.
Even if every Christian were to leave the Middle East, there would be no peace.

Let’s make a deal. You leave the west alone and we’ll leave the east alone OK? What no can do? Some how you just have to live with us infidels don’t you. You think you just can’t live happily ever after unless you bring everyone else down to your sad level. In reality you can’t live with others at all. You have to dominate everything always, and that’s not good for anyone. Why don’t you just go visit Osama. Ask him how he likes his 72 used to be virgins. 72 virgins – and then you want to make an argument that Islam doesn’t turn you into a lunatic. Allah U Idiot.

“I wish we had negotiated with the Taliban after 9/11 to get him to a trial in a Muslim country.”

Where? Pakistan? Where in the entire muslim world is Osama not emulated. Oh! I forgot – New York – the New York in Obama’s world that is.

“But Russell still held out hope that bin Laden’s demise will open up a broader conversation about violence…”

The only thing he takes from this is: “we need a broader conversation about violence”? Where do these people come from? I don’t know what is scarier; a living bin laden, or these mindless idiots. One thing is more certain all the time – You don’t have to be a part of the Church to wear the name.

First, nothing will reconcile Muslims with the bleeding heart ignorant Jews and Christians. They may DECEIVE themselves into feeling reconciled. But it will only be another deception.

Second, Obama’s poll bump will be short-lived. I give it a couple weeks. Then his erratic behavior and gross inconsistencies will make themselves better known. There are so many incinsistencies that his incompetence and screwed up agenda will rear it ugly head with renewed vigor.

And finally, we should not cower in submission feaarful of any joke, pun, cartoon, book burning, or image of a mutilated body an Islamic terrorist. Every time we practice our “respect” and “reverence” for Islam, we sink deeper into submission and denial of the truth.

All of these non-violent actions of expression should be practiced as often as possible. Then they will show themselves for what they are, psychotic, reactionary beings, no longer able to hide under their taqiyya, with their intent and actions laid bare for all to see even more clearly.
