Sacramento: Welcoming a $4 million Islamic Center That Teaches Children About the “enemies” of Islam

What is at least one thing that Sacramento and Seattle, have in common? They are both blindly welcoming the ideology of the enemy in. The SALAM Center at 4541 College Oak Drive, is scheduled to move into a new 4.4 million dollar Mosque and Islamic Center this January. The Mosque is led by Imam Mohamed Abdul-Azeez. The Imam comes off like he has good intentions, but lets take a closer look at his words and Islamic Center.

From today’s Newsreview.com.

The Imam said: “America is the best place in the world for Muslims to be.”

Why is that Imam? Is it because Muslims can easily use the freedoms of America against America, in order to advance Islam? Is it because Islam is protected like a new born baby by the US government?

SNIP

But unlike mosque construction projects that have provoked xenophobia in other parts of the country, the SALAM Center has gotten a much warmer welcome.

“This community is diverse and more open-minded,” he said. “There are many religions and immigrants here. Sacramento doesn’t have the cultural homogeneity of Tennessee that can automatically reject the ‘other,’ nor is it so emotionally scarred as New York, with the proposed Islamic center so close to a horrific scene of destruction.

“A culture like this will automatically deter or discourage haters,” he added.

So that’s it Imam? Anyone who actually does know about Islam is to be labeled a hater, for not wanting America to fall to Islamic rule? Thanks for showing your true colors, it didn’t take long.

SNIP

Azeez is a passionate advocate of interfaith work and dedicates much of his time educating the community about the religion of Islam.

To Muslims, his message is, “Be the best American you can be.”

To non-Muslims: “American Muslims are not your enemy. Most Muslims everywhere are not your enemy. Those Muslim extremists you fear, we fear them too, because most of their victims are Muslims.”

In regards to his message to Muslims. Does that mean within the realms of Islam? Which shall Muslims hold higher, the US Constitution or Sharia Law? Unfortunately the person who interviewed you did not have the knowledge to ask you these questions. I will be sending these questions to the Imam, I will let you guys know if he even responds.

In regards to his message to non-Muslims. Are you implying that Sharia loving Muslims in Seattle, are not a threat to non-Muslims? Do you condemn Sharia Law? Do you consider Muslims who want Sharia to be “extremists”?

Bob Schmidt is the author of today’s article in the Sacramento Newsreview, entitled “The all-American mosque”.

Lets see what is so American about it, starting with the Mosque.

About Us.

Mission Statement

(According to the By-Laws) SALAM’s mission is to practice and promote Islam by providing religious, educational and recreational facilities and services for members of the public. The emergence of an American-Muslim identity is its prime goal.

That might sound nice to some, but what exactly does it mean Imam?

My Vision of the Needs of the Muslim Community:

The Sacramento area has been expanding significantly and the Muslim community has been corresponding to this expansion in greater proportion. Muslims reside throughout the Sacramento County and it was getting difficult for some to come to the existing two mosques. In addition, while Islam transcends ethnic boundaries, the two local mosques were ethnically oriented, and generally reached Muslims of the same ethnicity. I also felt that not much effort was done to reach out to the community at large to project Islam and Muslims in a friendly and favorable light to the media and to fellow Americans of other faiths. Creating a dialogue among members of other faiths was needed.

In other words you want to try and con non-Muslims about Islam. It clearly calls for the dominance of non-Muslims, and you are not going to change that. Your own words will show the readers you do not want to change that.

In summer of 1986, I pondered about the above issues and local Muslims’ affairs at that time. I felt deeply that the community needed an Islamic Center, run by a group of professional Muslims who transcended ethnic boundaries. This would ideally present Islam in its true image of moderation and acceptance. I spent some times in prayers, seeking the guidance of Allah in this endeavor, and all my feelings were to go ahead. To be incorporated legally, the requirements of the State of California and the Internal Revenue Service were strictly observed. That was easy for me to do being a professor of Accounting and a CPA.

You speak of “moderation”, but it is not hard to see what you consider to be “moderate” is not what non-Muslims would consider it. The following paragraphs show non-Muslims how you want Islam to dominate. You are really not that good with the double-talk.

How the Name of SALAM Came into Being:

At the end of that summer, my wife Rosalie and I were driving to visit one of her relatives in Napa Valley. She shared with me her interest in correcting the negative stereotype about Islam and Muslims in the media and believed a course of action should be planned. In turn, I shared with her the plan to establish an Islamic Center to promote Islamic teaching, understanding and unity among all Muslims in our community regardless of their ethnicities. Such a Center should reach out to everyone, Muslim and non-Muslim alike, and cooperate with peoples of other faiths in our community. This will reflect the Islamic message, enhance our standing in the community, and thus enable us to exert influence in the society in which we live. We started thinking about a spiritual and catchy name, as an acronym. We thought of many names until we came up with SALAM which is one of the Arabic roots of Islam and it is mentioned 42 times in the Qur’an. We then started searching for words to stand for SALAM and came up with “Sacramento Area League of Associated Muslims” as the legal name of the new Islamic Center.

The Dream that Occupied my Mind Then and Now:

I concluded the letter by putting my great hopes for our Muslim community in a dream!

“I dream to see the day that all Muslims in this community capitalize on the many things they have in common, and ignore the minor differences that may divide them. I dream to see the day that the leaders of the various Masajid (Mosques) in our community will join hands to coordinate the celebration of their religious holidays together, and will be able to agree jointly to have one start and one end for the month of Ramadan. I dream to see the day, when we perform the Eid’ prayers that all Muslims in this community will stand in one place as one block, at the same moment, and in one loud voice shouting Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Only then can we draw the attention of the people around us who will recognize our unity, strength, and existence. Once those dreams become true, then the claim can be made that we are practicing Islam as it should be practiced according to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (pbuh). The Qur’an says: ‘And hold you fast to Allah’s bond, together, and do not disunite’ (3:103). Also Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), in his Farewell Khutbah, stated: “O mankind, listen well to my words; learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.”

As I said, Islam calls for the domination of non-Muslims, and I have read more than enough of your words to see what you are all about. You are clearly an enemy of the non-Muslims in America.

From the Mosque lets move onto the center’s school, and take a look at their elementary parent/student handbook.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Introduction
It is our pleasure to welcome you to SALAM Elementary School. The staff at SALAM Elementary School are dedicated to providing the best possible education in an Islamic environment. Many of our accomplishments over the years have been due to parent involvement and support. We hope that you will continue to share the commitment by supporting school activities and volunteering your time on a regular basis.

Is an Islamic environment, as American as apple pie? I don’t think so.

Purpose, Goals, and Methods
SALAM Elementary School will be recognized in Sacramento as a leading Muslim institution of education. We will set the best example and standards for how to successfully integrate academic and religious curricula. Our Arabic and Islamic studies curriculum will enhance the quality of general education our students receive. Each student will feel that he/she is our most valued and appreciated student. In addition, our students will enjoy the beauty of our facility and will take pride in helping to maintain it. Our teaching and administrative staff will be proud of their association with SALAM Elementary School and they will be an integral part of our success. They will see SALAM Elementary School as the best school at which to work, where they can grow Islamically, professionally and personally. Our staff will commit themselves to continuously improve and refine the quality of education we offer, to enhance the beauty and cleanliness of our facility and to nurture the talent Allah (swt) has given to each of our students.

I see a lot of talk about Islam, but nothing about assimilating. Bob, did you bother to do any research?

Onto their dress code.

Dress Code
The SALAM Preschool dress code is established to teach Islamic grooming and hygiene and to encourage modesty. Students should be dressed and groomed in a manner that is clean and neat and that will not be a health or safety hazard to themselves or others. Students are expected to abide by the dress code every day.

Physical Mandate:
SALAM’s Dress Code Policy (hereinafter DCP) will be implemented and enforced on all SALAM premises (SALAM Community Center, Masjid, and Center for Higher Islamic Learning) and SALAM related activities outside of its premises (picnics, banquets, conferences, etc.)

Enforcement Scope:
SALAM’s DCP will be enforced on individuals that attend any of SALAM’s mixed-gender events and functions, including but not restricted to students (Weekend School, Full-time School, Adult Education classes, etc.), parents, worshipers (for Jumaa and regular prayers) banquet attendees, private events and gatherings, and all other Hall rental events. Enforcement the DCP will be performed only by the appropriate program head. The rules will be applied to both Muslims and non-Muslims, males and females, young and old.

These rules are a bit Nazi like, is a 6 month-old non-Muslim female who does wear a hijab a threat to Islam?

SALAM’s dress code policy:

(C) For SALAM’s Events and Activities:
This set of rules applies to youth and adults.
a) Parents, members, visitors, patrons, attendees, and all recipients of SALAM services are expected to abide by the Islamic model of modesty and to respect the sanctity of the house of God at all times. The Islamic dress code requires that men and women cover their awrahs with clothing that is neither transparent nor form-fitting.

b) Men and women are expected to wear long and loose pants or skirts while on the premises of SALAM at all times.

c) Men and women are expected to wear loose, non form-fitting shirts, T-shirts, loose turtlenecks or blouses. Otherwise, the upper torso should be covered by a loose article of clothing.

d) For females, tops must be long enough to cover the behind and sleeves must be long enough to touch the elbow.

e) Any clothing that may disrupt the learning or the spiritual environment of SALAM or may be considered a security risk, at the discretion of the SALAM staff and administration, will not be allowed.

Letter “D” sounds like they are not too far off from a burqa, and how can a religion that allows the taking of sex slaves claim to be spiritual? Oh I forgot, it is legal under Islam therefore it is OK.

Moving on to their curriculum.

SALAM Elementary and Preschool
Quranic and Islamic Studies Curriculum:

Preschool (Level 1):
Summary:
Main Focus: To acquaint the students with introductory Islamic themes and practices.

Learning Abilities: very limited to simple commands and instructions. Memorization is generally limited if it is not reinforced in different ways. Understanding of complex concepts is severely limited. Students are still trying to learn how to be in a school and many of them will be crying and tired.

Formats to Avoid: Do not structure the class into a lecture format with a lot of note-taking or pencil work. Do not make memorization of facts the main focus of the instruction.

Preferred Format: Fun activities are essential. (We don’t want to burn them out of Islam this early!) Employ painting, crafts, songs and rhymes, simple du’as and manners in greeting and eating, stories and games to reinforce basic akhlaq (manners).

In this level, it is preferable that Quranic and Islamic Studies should be taught by the same teacher in the same class, as an integrated subject.

Here is where all non-Muslims should be concerned.

After the Completion of this Grade, the Students Should Know the Following:

Qur’anic Concepts & Knowledge
1. Surahs: Al Fatihah, Al Kauthar and Al Ikhlas. (Learned in Arabic and simplified English.)
A. Simple meaning of Al Fatihah:
“In the Name of Allah, the Caring and Kind. Praise is for Allah, the Lord of the Universe; the Caring and Kind and Master of the Day of Judgment. We serve You (Allah) and we turn to You for help. Guide us on the straight way. The same way as the people You are happy with, not the way of the people You are angry with, and not the way of the people who went the wrong way.”

Right off of the bat, the school is teaching kids that Islam is the only path to be accepted in life, and at the same time condemning non-Muslims. Al Fatihah is the first Surah of the Koran and it can be viewed HERE. When it comes to Judgement Day, here is what the Islamic scriptures needs to happen for Muslims to reach that day.

Muslim Hadith Book 041, Number 6985:
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

Getting back to what this so called “moderate” school is teaching…

B. Simple meaning of Al Kauthar:
“In the Name of Allah, the Caring and Kind. Indeed, We have given you a lot, so turn to your Lord in prayer and give a special offering. Indeed, your enemies are the ones who will come to an end.”

I don’t recall learning anything about having so called enemies perish back when I was in preschool. Do you? Al Kauther is the 108 Surah of the Koran, and it can be viewed HERE.

C. Simple meaning of Al Ikhlas:
“In the Name of Allah, the Caring and Kind. Tell everyone: ‘He is One God; Allah, Who is forever. He doesn’t have children and He was never born, and there is nothing the same as Him.'”

This chapter is just a reinforcement that Allah is the only path to follow. Al Ikhlas is the 112th Surah of the Koran and it can be viewed HERE.

2. The Qur’an is the Book of Allah. It was given to Prophet Muhammad.

3. It is a special book that gives good news to people and helps them be happy.

4. We must have clean hands before we can touch it and must treat it with care. (Students can actually practice this as an exercise.)

5. When to say Tasmiyah and Ta’awwudh before recitation + saying “Sadaq Allahul owthzeem” when finishing recitation along with the English meaning.

Does the Koran give good news to non-Muslims?

‘Aqeedah
1. Allah is the Maker of everything and everyone.

2. Allah is just one and doesn’t need any helpers.

3. Allah is never born and He never dies.

4. Allah loves us and wants us to follow His directions. Following His directions helps people to lead happy and good lives. If we don’t follow His directions, we are unhappy and treasures will never satisfy us.

5. Allah is watching us and seeing how well we follow His rules. If we do a good job and love Him, He will give us rewards and presents in another world.

Allah calls for Muslims to dominate non-Muslims, this is not part of assimilating and not American at all. These poor kids are only in preschool, and they are already being told of a so called paradise that awaits them in another world.

Now we see that at this early age, they are being introduced to the brutal ahadith.

Du’as, Phrases & Ahadith
1. The following Du’as and hadiths should be learnt by the children in Arabic and English:

A. Before doing anything important we say, “Bismillahir Rahman ir Raheem.” “In the Name of Allah, the Caring and Kind.”

B. “Rabbee Aghfirlee” “My Lord forgive me.”

C. When we see something good happening we say, “Al humdulillah.” “Praise Allah!”

Considering the fact that Islam is being pounded into these kids heads, how long will it be until they move onto the violent ahadith? Since the children are being taught about their enemies, lets take a look at the Bukhari hadith entitled, the “Punishment of Disbelievers at War with Allah and His Apostle”.

Keep in mind that the Islamic scriptures state that those who contend against Islam are enemies.

Koran Verse 008.012
YUSUFALI: Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): “I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.”

Koran 008.013
YUSUFALI: This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger: If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment.

Meaning those of us who just speak out against Islam, are the enemy.

Bukhari Hadith Volume 8, Book 82, Number 795:
Narrated Anas:

The Prophet cut off the hands and feet of the men belonging to the tribe of ‘Uraina and did not cauterise (their bleeding limbs) till they died.

From the Prayers chapter.

Bukhari Hadith Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.”

The list goes on to detail how Muslims should interact with each other, their general hygiene, etc. As the school year goes on, more Surahs from the Koran are added. One of them is the chapter entitled Al Masad, which is #111 and it can be viewed HERE.

Simple meaning of Al Masad:
“In the Name of Allah, the Caring and Kind. Whatever Abu Lahab’s hands have done is cut off! His money and his things won’t save him, because he will be surrounded by a hot fire. And his wife, who will add more wood to the fire, will have a twisted fiber chain strung around her neck.

For those who do not know Abu was Mohammad’s Uncle, and if he were alive today he would have supported this website and my teammates.

“I saw the Prophet Muhammad in the market and he was saying, ‘O people! Say there is none worthy of worship except Allah and you will be successful.’ The people were gathered around him and behind him was a man with a bright face, squint eyes and two braids in his hair. He was saying, ‘He (Muhammad) is an apostate and a liar!’

This man was following the Prophet wherever he went. I asked who he was and the people replied, ‘This is his uncle, Abu Lahab.’”

Unfortunatly we see the SALAM Center is teaching young Muslims to hate the critics of Islam and Mohammad. Were the non-Muslims reading this, ever taught such hatred in school?

As we move on to the kindergarten grade, the school adds more Surahs of the Koran and more of the Sirah (biographies of Muhammad). Here are a few examples.

8. The beginning of Prophethood and the teachings of Islam. Actually go over what the Prophet was teaching people (in a simplified way) so the students can see they were good teachings. Introduce the term Wahy (revelation or inspiration.)

9. Describe the bad reaction of some people.

Apparently it is a “bad reaction”, when a person does not want to accept Islamic rule.

20. Go over the treaty of peace between the Muslims and Mecca in a simple way. Explain how the Meccans broke it.

21. The peaceful taking of Mecca.

22. The spread of Islam far and wide.

Basically the school goes onto teach the children that Mohammad could do no wrong, and Islam is meant to be spread across the world. Of course there are no concerns whatsoever for the beliefs of non-Muslims.

Bob Schmidt who wrote the orginial article called the “The all-American mosque”. It is beyond obvious that he did absolutely no research on Imam Abdul-Azeez, or the Islamic Center. The reason I am bringing Bob into this is beacause his reporting is not only irresponsible, it is determental to the country. With all that is going on with Islam across the world, he should be ashamed of himself for writing that uniformed article, and just like in Europe the MSM is actively taking part in the destruction of Western Civiliation. It is up to us to get the truth out there, your children our counting on you!
