Northwestern University Appoints First Muslim Chaplain

In the continued slow suicide of Western Civilization, Northwestern University has appointed a Muslim chaplain to represent the Muslim community on campus, (make demands in favor of Islam). In the past Tahera Ahmad was a leader of the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago, whose website details their 16 point plan to silence the critics of Islam. The Council is also trying to curtail the sales of alcohol in their area. Did anyone at the university bother to ask Tahera if she is against Sharia Law? Of course not, that would be “offensive”.

Please shower Northwestern with some “Logan Love”. They can be reached HERE.

Muslim Chaplain Appointed

Tahera Ahmad will help represent Muslim community on campus

Tahera Ahmad has been appointed associate university chaplain. Her primary responsibilities are to work with Muslim students and represent the Muslim community to the rest of the Northwestern community, according to University Chaplain Timothy Stevens.

Ahmad has been featured in several documentary films about Islam and will be depicted in the upcoming PBS documentary “The Calling” about faith and youth leadership in the U.S.

She has served the Chicago-area Muslim community through leadership roles with several organizations, including the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago.

At the Islamic Foundation School in Villa Park, Ill., Ahmad taught courses in Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies. She regularly hosts young Muslim arts events, and she counsels young Muslims to promote a balanced Muslim lifestyle.

While a graduate student in Islamic studies and Christian-Muslim relations at Hartford Seminary, Ahmad served as the Muslim chaplain/advisor at Mt. Holyoke College in Massachusetts.

Ahmad grew up in Morton Grove, Ill., and graduated from Niles West High School, where she played varsity basketball.
