California: Muslim Unity Day September 18, 2010
Muslim Unity Day 2010 will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Great America Park in Santa Clara, CA InshaAllah.
Come and celebrate Eid with the Muslim communities from across California.
Alhamdulillah, MUD 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 were very successful. Over 18000 Muslims from all over the nation have attended this one of a kind, special event in the past 5 years.
Now, join us again for our 6th Annual MUD on September 18, 2010 at Great America Park in Santa Clara, CA.
Just like the previous years, halal food will be sold through out the day, vendors will be selling merchandize such as islamic art, clothing, jewelery, etc. and we will present the evening entertainment program.

The MUD™ Vision
“Muslim Unity Day™” began as an idea from a local Bay Area Muslim who saw a need for Muslims to have a day to enjoy at Paramount’s Great America as other religious and ethnic groups do.Thus began a quest to form a coalition of as many different Islamic and Muslim organizations as possible to participate in this day of enjoyment and Unity for the Muslims.We hope and pray that InshaAllah MUD will continue to grow and develop into much more than a day of Unity for the Muslims, but a symbol and lifetime of peace, brotherhood, prosperity, cooperation, coalition, friendship and Unity for all Muslims across the world!

The only thing I like is the acronym MUD. Because the word mud encompass the whole concept of pislam perfectly.

Remember that stuff in UK last year when school children where forced to "test" being muslims? Now there something similar going on in Sweden, at least at one school so far. I'll wait and see, maybe they will skip it if gets too much attention.
