I just want to remind everyone that eating Halal food is tantamount to receiving the Eucharist when you are unbaptized.
It really is a profound religious imposition on the rest of the society. Even if you are not a Muslim, you are practicing Islam if you eat Halal.
So don’t do it.

That’s a lie and you know it.
Jews do their kosher butchery.
But they do not impose it on all of us.
Jews have kosher foods.
They understand that they do not impose it on the entire community just because they want it.
Jews have their own law-courts, but these courts convene with the specific understanding that no law supercedes secular law in America.
Muslims do not understand these things at all.

Jews are not body bombing restaurants, hijacking planes, flying into buildings; blowing up planes trains and public celebrations, slicing throats; cutting off heads, hands and feet; trying to apply foreign laws in our nation, burning people alive, burying people alive, stoning people, stomping on flags while chanting death slogans in sensitive areas, developing a seditious educational system, and causing all kinds of disruption and general defiance. If all there was to Islam was a different prayer method and some dietary restrictions, none of this would be happening and no one would care. Just think, in the future it may be you trying to hide behind a tree – that is unless this describes you as a muslim. Allahu Akbar! Right?

Jack, its a little more involved than that.

In order for the meat to be halal, it has to be slaughtered by a certified muslim butcher. So slaughterhouses have to employ arselifters. This is the start of the process.

I read an article recently on what happened in Ireland. Arselifters wanted halal meat, slaughterhouses obliged and arselifters were imported. This turns out to be a scam. As soon as those arselifting butchers get residency, they quit so the slaughterhouses have to find replacements. Turns out this was a backdoor, according to the article, to import more arselifters into Ireland. I imagine its happening elsewhere as well.

Also, the arselifter doing the slaughtering has to pray to allah, facing mecca, and ritually slaughter the animal. The animal isn't stunned. It usually dies slowly from blood loss and in a great deal of pain.

Most animal rights groups are opposed to this but seems they aren't complaining loud enough so as not to upset the arselifters.

Apart from the halal meat, you'll also find halal gelatine entering the food chain. This then becomes a problem if you oppose halal slaughter. I boycott all halal products on principle. So no Kraft products, Cadbury chocloates, most yoghurts, etc. for me.
