Religious freedom means protecting Islam, which does not tolerate other religions on an equal basis.. In other words, Muslims do consider other religions to be inferior to Islam and the followers of other religions to be inferior.
Therefore, giving equal to Islam makes "freedom of religion" an oxymoron. It means tolerating the quintessential intolerance.
I do not believe in the freedom of religion. Anybody who considers stoning a woman to death for being raped, or the dealth penalty for those who leave Islam, to be insupportable, agrees with me.

Giving Islam freedom of religion was a huge mistake and doing so, eventually takes away rights of non-Muslims.
We have to wake up to the fact that Islam is not a religion. There should be no freedom of religion for Islam. It is an oppressive political ideology much like Nazi Germany, determined to destroy the freedom of non-Muslims, one that treats its own women and children like dirt. How can we in America close our eyes to the plight of people in Eqypt, Saudi, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sudan, Somalia, Pakistan…and the list goes on…suffering under Islam, while we stupidly smile and champion freedom of religion? And it is not just 'over there'. It is right here in the USA growing aggressively.
So, why doesn't the US hold back the yearly donation it gives to Egypt until the US sees prosecution of the muslim killers in Egypt?
That is what I want to know. It seems that our government just does not care.
