Please don't judge. They have friends and families, and birthdays and weddings. They like to go to the mall or play soccer or talk on the phone. They feel happiness and sadness, and bordom and stress. And they feel pain and grief, they like to laugh and visit friends. They have a beating heart and flowing blood in their veins as well. Don't you remember what the Japanese had to go through here in the U.S. when Pearl Harbor happened? Don't you remember, at one time or another in the history of the United States, every single race and religion that has ever been dicriminated against? The Russians, the Hispanics, African Americans, Indians, Native Americans, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Italian, French, Greek, British? And how do people react when they read about it in their U.S. History textbooks? 'Oh! That's horrible! They don't deserve to be treated this way, how could these people think like this?' Thats what people say when they read about all that segregation and discrimination. And yet, here they are, doing it again, except to a different people, and calling it justice. Denying racism. It was only a matter of time before Arabs were added to that very long list. Just please, look at this with an open mind, will you? Not everyone is filled with hate. I have Muslim friends who get along perfectly well with their Christian and Jewish friends. They mourned with us on 9/11. They hate those idiot 9/11 terrorists (heck, all terrorists!) just as much as everybody else. I'm asking nicely for you to consider. Just give them a chance, please? Death cults, indoctrination of children, humiliation and ritual beheading of prisoners, and yes suicide bombing? What do you think? And you know what we did to them, to save our soldiers' lives.
