JESUS4SHARIAH DEBATE POSTPONED

Islam4UK an organization that is promoting a Jesus4Sharia debate with Christian and Jewish leaders, has postponed the event. The reason is that they have not even received a response from Church “leaders”. Past Popes fought Islam head on, but today the Church sits around and watches as Islam slowly devours Western civilization. Grow a spine already!

JESUS4SHARIAH DEBATE POSTPONED

On 18th December 2009, a highly anticipated debate centred on the true mission of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) was organised by members of Islam4UK as a challenge to all Jews and in particular Christians in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Over the past few weeks we have been inundated with support from the Muslim community and have furthermore received requests from Christians as well as other non-Muslims to attend this unique debate.

Unfortunately, after careful consultation (shoora), it has come to our attention that all applicants who have forwarded their interest for participating in this debate do not meet the calibre that we feel would be appropriate for the topic and audience.

We have furthermore received no response from representatives of the Church, to whom ultimately this debate was directed to and as a result, have decided to postpone this invitation until suitable candidates come forward to defend the Christian doctrine and its association with Prophet Jesus.

We continue to call out to all Christians in the United Kingdom and abroad, to come forward and engage in a fruitful debate on the true message of Jesus and to furthermore reflect on the following three questions which are paramount to the debate:

1. Is the message of Jesus pro-secular democracy or pro total implementation of divine law within society.

2. Did Jesus struggle verbally and physically against the tyrants of his time, or did he turn the other cheek?

3. Would Jesus stand with the oppressed people in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine or with the oppressive occupiers?

If you would like to participate in a debate revolving around these questions please call:

they want a 'fruitful debate' from people of 'appropriate calibre'? dream on… you can't debate Islam. You can attack it, say it is a lie, you do not agree, it is bad, ugly, evil, oppressive, violent, deceptive…which does not a debate make.
Christians preach the truth. Intellectual humanists debate.
The only 'fruit' Moslems want out of such a debate is to continue to tear Christian teaching apart, and those who planned to 'debate' them obviously would not allow that, so they backed off.

    • ChristopherL on December 17, 2009 at 10:21 pm

The main reason I think that the Church should show up for this debate is to expose just how brutal and discriminatory Sharia Law is.

      • Fran_Ingram on December 17, 2009 at 10:44 pm

Sure, if they would allow those kind of comments. I just doubt that they would accept people with those views at their debate (not of the calibre they are looking for). I bet the people they refused wanted to do exactly that. And I also doubt if any church leader/pastor/minister of any sizable church would have the courage to go. Which is why the UK is in the mess it is in….weak and failing churches.

        • ChristopherL on December 17, 2009 at 10:48 pm

You are probably right, they are screening closely. The Church there is not only silent, they actually supported the Sharia Courts. Now that is sad.

On my old site, this Pastor from the UK posted a comment in an article about a Christian school there. I politely asked him about the Islamic push. He ran away with his tail between his legs and never responded. There are plenty of Christian ''leaders" in America that are cowards as well.

The Pope makes a remark that is totally true about Islam and then hides in his palaces only to come out to kiss the Koran. The rest of the clergy are either supporting Sharia or won't talk about it. Reminds me of what I read about many of them during Hitler's time. Some few priests did what is right but the higher ups did not.

More Ministers of Protestants have spines, but many more are either chosing to stay ignorant or are still in their ignorant bliss. Then there are others like Obama's church who are not Christian at all but are closer to the hatefilled types that Islam turns out. Ironically, Rev. Wright is a former black Muslim. (I read that somewhere) And we witness Obama appeasing the Black Muslims.

It is why I put quote marks around church 'leaders'.

I actually had to tell Catholics that it is NOT a sin to know Islam and that it is evil, and I got kicked out of a Catholic forum because I quoted the Koran that told of the two different types of Muslims – believers and hypocrites. All the labels we put on them are hogwash.

    • ChristopherL on December 17, 2009 at 11:05 pm

I put the quotes also. Was it Christianforum.com?

      • R_not on December 17, 2009 at 11:10 pm

        forums.catholic.com

        • ChristopherL on December 17, 2009 at 11:20 pm

That place is lead by cowards, they banned me twice. I came back a few months after the first banning. Then that mod Robert Bay threatened me with a lawsuit if I came back again. People like him deserve to live under Islamic rule.

          • R_not on December 17, 2009 at 11:26 pm

Yeah, they don't even bother to crack open any Islamic texts or anything about its history. Believe me – I gave them links to things that they could read without having to buy anything and even proved my points with the Koran, hadith or sira – but when a lying scumbucket Muslim who is in major 'victimhood mode' they start threatening with lawsuits.

I can hardly wait until the Pope and his entourage of Cardinals and priests come running with their skirts lifted like little girls after their back yards are full of Muslims getting too close for their comfort with rockets after years of appeasement that won't work. Mark my words – they will come a runnin'.

          • ChristopherL on December 17, 2009 at 11:41 pm

They don't want to hear the truth, it makes things easier for them. Christianforums.com is worse, post an article on Islam persecuting Christians and they attack you like a pack of wolves. There is even a Priest from Australia there leading the way against those that speak the truth about Islam.

            Check you email.

  3. R_not on December 17, 2009 at 11:09 pm

To tell you the truth, I wouldn't go to any debate about this. They don't want debate they don't know squat about the Bible, or if they use the Bible verses they just pick out a passage to justify their own violence.

But I still stand as for what I think about the Catholic Church and what the majority of Christian 'leaders are – spineless. I think they are waiting for a devil to come out with a nasty demeanor, horns and hair all over the place and with hoofs instead of feet with a long tail. I do not think they would know evil if it has an appearance of peacefulness and can talk smoothly. Wasn't Lucifer the most beautiful of angels?

    • Fran_Ingram on December 18, 2009 at 1:45 am

You are right about the vast majority of Christian leaders being spineless. Incredible. Where is their faith in the power of God and the Gospel! And the trust we have as Christians in eternity. This life here is not SO important. Jesus said, save your life here and loose it – loose your life here and save it. But you are right – most Christians know (or believe) squat about the Bible.

Check out the new podcast of the Braveheart Show (aired every day in Tampa Bay area) for a shot of not-spineless-Christian-leadership. It is great. (doveworld.org). Plenty of people do not like our ISLAM IS OF THE DEVIL statement, but Dr. Jones (my Senior Pastor) certainly has a spine. He has met the Devil head on many times and is not running.

      • ChristopherL on December 18, 2009 at 1:55 am

Dr. Jones is a man amongst boys, him and others like him will be heard! As this is a growing issue amongst the Christian community.

  4. Fran_Ingram on December 18, 2009 at 2:03 am

it is a growing issue, but they love to be liked…the Christian community. maybe that is worse than Islam, CAIR coming after you, the media shooting you down, the threat of violence. Not being liked may be the worst demon…

    • Fran_Ingram on December 18, 2009 at 2:06 am

which is the clever ploy of political correctness and pro Islam propaganda – stick with us and the world will like you (COEXIST and all that) – stand against us and we will make the world hate you.

      • Fran_Ingram on December 18, 2009 at 2:07 am

and you might even get a Nobel Peace Prize for it….

      • ChristopherL on December 18, 2009 at 2:10 am

They are the masters of propaganda.

    • ChristopherL on December 18, 2009 at 2:07 am

Dr. Jones showed us how to handle CAIR. He put up another sign after they asked the other one to be taken down. There is nothing worse than our families future generations being forced to live under Islam rule. We have to fight on.

Here's an interview with Lars Hedegaard, danish publiscist and co-founder of The International Free Press Society. He talks about The Third Jihad and the video is approx. 30 mins. In english of course. I think you might be interested in this. He is very clear sighted and understands the muslim mind-set.

"Islam is an army. Integration is not working, simply because its absolutely forbidden. We in the west have a hard time understanding a culture, that does not change, that has an essence, that has not changed in 1400 years… Why is it that, the longer the muslims have stayed in the country, the less integrated they are?..We have to look at their core values……Our leaders do not take this seriously and I am afaid that it will take a public uprising before they will take this seriously. But they must. After the german occupation of Denmark, there was quite a few, who had collaborated withe the enemy, who came into very hot water. The same thing could happen here… This cannot be solved with a compromise, its either our civilisation or their barbary. Our two ways of life, are like fire and water. One of them must be victorious.” (mobilvideo © Asger Trier og Snaphanen)"

He clearly gets it, it wil be our way of life or Sharia Law.

      Thanks Robin.

      • Robin Shadowes on December 19, 2009 at 12:47 am

I wanted to share it since he is very knowledgeable about these things since he talked just about how islam is creeping in on you so slowly in the beginning, then the pace is slowly getting faster and faster. He was also responsible for publishing the motoons a few years ago although he doesn't work for that paper anymore. At least he has a spine compared to so many other academics in the west.

        • ChristopherL on December 19, 2009 at 1:18 am

The pace is getting faster and faster, because our "leaders" are gutless.

Thanks and happy holidays to you and your family!

This same multiple choice question has been sent to many people over the last seven years.

    Do you believe “Moshiach” is…

    (a) A tasty Polish stew best served in the depths of winter.

    (b) An irrelevant, archaic concept with no relevance to today’s world.

    (c) A metaphor for an age of world peace and does not imply an actual person.

    (d) Alive and breathing right now on Planet Earth and is doing his work.

    (e) Has already lived and will return one day.

    (f) Is not born yet and is not physically present on earth yet.

    (g) Is best represented by the collective Jewish people and/or the State of Israel.

As a writer, P/T lecturer and respected academic in the area of Islamic Studies I personally agreed, to debate with Anjem Choudary on any issue he wanted. I emailed this response several times on his personal email address. He did not reply. It would be fairly easy, and quite entertaining, to argue with him as, even a slight knowledge of the Quran, hadith and Islamic history, would reveal the distorted nature of his beliefs. In email exchanges with him he revealed a very inaccurate understanding of Christianity and mainly reliued on the Gospel of Barnabas to argue the apparent errors of Christianity. He fails to acknowledge that thje Gospel of Barnabas is recognised by most scholars [even Muslim academics] as a Renaissance forgery . I wish some well known figure -0 such as Tariq Ramadan or Michael Nazir-Ali would have an open debsate with Choudary and show what a clown the man really is. If I can be of help to anyone interested in this are plz contact me – archegos@btinternet.com

"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels." (Michael H. Hart, The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History, New York, 1978, pp.33 )
Muhammed must be called the Saviour of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it much needed peace and happiness." (George Bernard Shaw, The Genuine Islam, Singapore, Vol. 1, No. 8, 1936)
Who could dare to compare any great man in modern history with Muhammad? As regards all the standards by which Human Greatness may be measured, we may well ask, Is there any man greater than him?" (Lamartine, Renowned Historian, Histoire De La Turquie, Paris, 1854, Vol. II, pp 276-277)
I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet Mohammed, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to this friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission." (Mahatma Gandhi, in Young India)

“How one man single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades?" "A silent great soul mohammed, one of that who cannot but be earnest. He was to kindle the world, the world’s Maker had ordered so." (Thomas Carlyle, Heroes and Hero Worship)

You have quoted a bunch of Islamic apologists. Is this supposed to negate the threat that Islam is to Western Civilization?
